Bangalore institute of technology has only two bulidings and there is no ground to play games and the indoor stadium is also very very small , class room are quite decent recently the are replacing he old benches with new one .
I am pursuing my engineering in electronics and communication and I am in first year , teaching is very average and some teachers don't teach the subject (i have experienced this one in my 1sem for c programming subject) and now I am in 2nd sem now the physics teacher also not good we can't understand her English ????
I think placements are good (as I don't know much about this bcz I am now in 2 nd sem ) .so as of data what I got from the clg website is around 89 companies are came for our clg .. And some seniors are telling that here is less chance to get into core for IT field it's good
I don't think so it's a value for money
Average clg life because there is no ground to play and a park to sit , and they will have some events , and manthan is Bit clg Fest
Don't join this clg if u have scored good marks in competative in exam
College has a decent infrastructure it has a good class rooms laboratories and library's. This college also has a digital library and has a lot of sports centres. The classes have smart boards and good fans. Wifi is provided but it's always busy as lot of students accessing it.
I'm studying Master Of Computer Applications in this college and I've joined this college as it is one of the top college's in Bengaluru. The faculties are very good and supportive with students. They provide notes and discuss most of the IT companies requirements and what we need to learn.
Placements in this college are higher for all the branches. They train us to get placed in top MNC company's. The companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Infosys etc approach college to hire the students.
Master Of Computer Applications costs me around 1.3Lakh per annum and it's quite good as compared to other colleges.
College has good campus it it best because it has a canteen which provides good food.
The Civil Engineering department in our college is equipped with modern labs and classrooms, providing an excellent environment for learning. The library is with the latest books and journals related to Civil Engineering. The campus also has sports facilities, a cafeteria, and well-maintained hostels.
The BE Civil Engineering course at BIT is comprehensive and up-to-date, covering all essential aspects of the field. The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced.Regular guest lectures and workshops are conducted to provide exposure to the latest trends in Civil Engineering.
BIT has a dedicated placement cell that works tirelessly to ensure students secure good placements. Many reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment. The college also provides training programs to enhance the skills of the students.
College Infrastructure is adequate and the labs are well equipped with instruments and PC’s. College doesn’t have a good wifi in campus and there is no playground of college on its own. There are 4 lifts but still it get crowded to reach 5-7 floors
Faculty focuses more on academics and as per the syllabus prescribed by the VTU. Every year many rank holders are from this college. Staff is also supporting and faculties also teach well as per syllabus.
In regard to placement, one must try to gain skills and do projects on his own as college mostly focus on the curriculum and academics. Only some few companies visits and you must prepare on your own to get good placements. Students have grabbed packages of 40+ lpa but they have prepared on their own
For CET students of Karnataka its value for money. But for North Indians or Comedk category students we can say it is not that worth. You can get admission in that much price in any good college with great campus in North.
There’s no such campus life. In hostel there’s no option for pure veg. Once a week they provide non-veg. And this is good only for studies and academics. Not so good for sports and campus life .So if you’re looking for good campus life then you may search other collegese
Our college infrastructure was really good. In every classroom we use to have projectors which were used for lectures and also during our seminar times. Library or the reading room is my favorite place where i used to prepare for seminars and for tests and exams as well. And coming to hostel it is the best part we used to get good food, hostel used to be very hygiene. Totally the infrastructure of my college was good.
I have completed my bachelor's and the branch is electrical and electronics engineering. The quality of teaching was good. My knowledge in this field is very good because of that good teaching. Tests, seminars, projects have really impacted my knowledge and confidence. Im very happy that i have graduated in thus college.
Quality of placements were average this year. No companies came right after my 3rd year. And so many interviews results have not been announced. And placements officers were also not that good, means they won't even used to respond for us. Placements were average.
Every year i used to pay around 1lakh. And yes joing for this college is worthy. It is a good college with good infrastructure and with good teaching facilities. It was worthy paying that much amount as a fees to the college.
My campus was not that excited one. It was fine or good. We used to attend classes and labs regularly sometimes we used to bunk but we really got scoldings for that. Staffs are goid and supportive, it is located in a nice and good place which is very much safe, which can handle all kinf of emergencies.
Overall college is worthy. It provides a quality knowledge which also supports for all other kind of extra curriculum activities and sports. Placements are average rather than that it is fine. Im happy for doing my engineering in this college.
College infrastructure is quite nice. Doesn't have a big campus, but serves the purpose of college. Wifis are not really available all the time. They put up some jamming on the mobile networks so as to make students not use mobile.
Teaching and academics are maintained well in order. Experienced teaching staff and they're always ready to help solve your problems. Overall, good academic experience and curriculum with extra Curricular activities.
Many companies do visit the college. Since, economic recession and layoffs began, the bumber of companies visited our college got really low. Average salary is 6lpa. Some students also get placed for more than 20lpa.
There are good labs although computers are old , campus is small but neat and clean , there is no Wifi for students , But the college is near KR market almost close to heart of old Bangalore , It has a metro line next to it so connectivity is Superb!,
It is affiliated to VTU so the syllabus is out-dated but it is becoming autonomous . Be careful the valuation of the Semester end exams . Most of us the students feel that they (VTU not BIT ) don't valuate correctly and they charge 600 per subject for re-eval
decent when we keep the macro-economic conditions in mind. Average is 5-7LPA . Highest will be above 15 LPA on any given year for sure . Placement training test are conducted for students to check their preparedness
The course fee varies for KCET it was 86k for comedk it was 2L+ management for cse or ise or ai/ml is upwards of 5L(mostly)
Campus Life nothing to brag about nor nothing to hate about it. No ragging -> positive and safe campus life
Decent college but very bad in course content ( scheme 18CS ) fault is not of college but of the university
College infrastructure is not great. There's a dearth of sports infrastructure. Libraries aren't adequately equipped. Classrooms are not spacious and aren't adequately ventilated. Improvement is expected in this regard.
There's a decent emphasis on academics. Quizes are conducted frequently and there is emphasis on conceptual understanding. Curriculum is quite obsolete though, would greatly appreciate an improvement in this regard
Placements are good with top companies includin walmart, google, adobe, nokia etc taking part in the process. There's atleast 75% placement in each batch with average package in excess of 4L. Top companies package can go upto 10-15L
Good, since it is relatively inexpensive
Campus life is not great to be honest.
Good college in Bangalore.
If you’re looking for a nice and huge campus, this is a big no no. There is no ground for sports, no Wifi and washrooms are not hygienic. You will surely face problems with washrooms and if you are a sportsperson, this one will let you down.
There is no compromise with teaching. Staff is excellent and will surely help you out if you have any issues. They are highly qualified. All the professors are available in the department. Faculty is good.
Mass placements is a surety. Placements are excellent here for computer science. You have to maintain your grade point though. There is a threshold, if your grade point is above that, you will surely get a placement.
For CET, value for money is good. It’s a bit more for COMED-K .
There is not much to do in campus. You have to find ways to engage yourself.
There seems to be a misunderstanding. The Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT) is located in Bangalore, not Surajpur, and there's no branch in Surajpur. The correct address for BIT is K.R. Road, V.V. Pura, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Specifically, the college is located in V.V. Puram, Bangalore.
BIT is a private
