BIET Davangere Placements 2025: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET) Davangere is committed to providing its students with the best possible placement opportunities. BIET highest package offered to a student was Rs. 11.7 lakh per annum, while the BIET average package stood at Rs. 4.5 lakh per annum. Over 65 companies visited the campus for recruitment, resulting in the BIET placement of more than 324 students. 

In the 2022-23 academic year, Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET) Davangere achieved notable success in its placement activities. The BIET placement cell works continuously towards providing students with corporate internships, job openings and placements in the top companies. BIET placement cell also invites HR managers from different industries to conduct training programmes for final year students.

The BIET placement cell provides training programmes such as mock interviews, group discussions, communication skills Workshops and public sector exam training to help students prepare for government sectors.

• The placement process involves a recruiter helping a client find the right candidate for an open position by matching the job requirements to what the potential candidate can offer in terms of skills.

• To ensure a successful placement process, students need to prepare their data in advance. 

• The placement department coordinator validates the data from each student and submits the consolidated data sheet to the placement cell. 

• The placement cell then updates the student's data sheet with the results of the previous semester.

• The placement cell then sends a formal invitation to companies who may be interested in visiting the campus for a placement drive.

• In addition, the placement cell also searches for new companies to invite through social media, such as LinkedIn and Facebook. Companies that respond to the invitation inform the placement cell of their schedule for the drive.

• On the day of the placement drive, the placement cell informs students of the required criteria for the drive through a circular.

• This is then posted on the department notice board to inform all students. 

• The events for the day typically include a pre-placement talk, an aptitude test, a group discussion (if required), an interview (technical and HR), and an announcement of the final selection.

Note: Most companies typically require an aggregate score of at least 60% or 6.75 CGPA across all semesters in order for applicants to be eligible. Some employers may be willing to overlook one backlog, while others may not accept any backlogs.
