The Allahabad Extension Center, located on the Allahabad-Mirzapur Road commenced its journey in the 1997-98 session. It was established with the objective of imparting academics and research programmes beyond the main campus of the Institute. This college offers 9 courses (BBA,BCA,M.E/M.tech,MBA/PGDM,MCA) in 3 streams ( Business & Management Studies,IT & Software, Engineering). It is mainly popular for BBA and BCA.

For taking admission in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business & Management Studies you must have to attain an aggregate score of 50% in 12th Board for General and 45% for SC and ST. In case a candidate has appeared for Class 12 exam and waiting for the result he/she can also apply to the course. To get admission you must apply online in official site bitmesra.ac.in

Both the college are good in their own way. Both have their respective features. Yes the placemt of BIT Lalpur is very good but it has high fees. Whereas IMED is really good college. The main advantage ofIMED is that it  in pune so it surely has some advantage. The faculty over here are high qualified & experienced. Placement is 80-90% every year. Highest package offere is around 14 lac p.a. The environment of pune is also very good & safe especially for girls.
So its ur choice, if Pune suits you then surely it is a better college. But BIT Lalpur is nevertheless at back.

Hello Harsh. Yes there are scholarships provided in bit, patna.The scholarships are provided by the BIRLA family for the poor and underlying sections of the society that provides almost full fee waiver in tuition fees and also the loan is provided by the college bank on nominal rates.

Hello Shubham. BIT has a bigger brand name than Thapar. Campus life at Thapar is better than BIT as the administration of BIT is not at all student friendly. There are many ridiculous rules and regulations at BIT such that cursing the administration of BIT is the favorite past time of BITians for 4 years.

The main criteria for securing a seat in any nit is all india rank but not the percentile. You mentioned that your percentile is 94.2 this usually means your rank must be around 50k according to the online stats. You havent mentioned your category rank or even the branch you are interested in and I cannot know your category rank without which I cannot give you relevant information but the minimum rank you need to get inorder to secure a seat in nit patna in the around 12k to 14k for the physics chemistr integrated courses.

Birla Institute of Technology, Patna is an autonomous private university in patna. It offers various UG and PG courses. Candidates will be admitted to the UG courses on the basis of 12th merit marks or JEE mains rank. For mtech and ME one can be admitted through GATE score. The admission  in the research courses can be after giving the written test and interview conducted by the college. Interested candidates can fill up the registration form online through the official website of campus. The admission process will commence from the last week of june till the second week of july. After registration, pay the application fee via online banking and take a print out of application letter for future use.
