Hello Shubham. BIT has a bigger brand name than Thapar. Campus life at Thapar is better than BIT as the administration of BIT is not at all student friendly. There are many ridiculous rules and regulations at BIT such that cursing the administration of BIT is the favorite past time

The main criteria for securing a seat in any nit is all india rank but not the percentile. You mentioned that your percentile is 94.2 this usually means your rank must be around 50k according to the online stats. You havent mentioned your category rank or even the branch
