Hello,

Since you have ST category you may get CSE in BIT Sindri however, 2017 closing ranks for Computer Science Engineering was Common Merit List rank of 290. Back in 2009-10 the closing ranks used to be higher at 500 - 600 CML. You may or may not get Computer Science but you would definitely get in some other branch. So hope for the best!

Lowest JCECE Cut off is set for Computer Science Engineering and Mechanical Engineering program
Candidates applying for Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Mining Engineering were at advantage.
Highest cut off is set for the above above-mentioneds. However, it is still tough to be shortlisted for the admission to BIT Sindri.

Is it Wise to take admission in any Government College in Jharkhand apart BIT Sindri? ???

Hello rima
Look if you are talking about any government college in Jharkhand then there are many government college which have better Placement and infrastructure scenario then bit sindri like IIT(ISM) DHANBAD,NIT JAMSHEDPUR etc.
But if you are talking about the college through jcece than,
There are number of colleges which take admission on the basis of jcece cml rank released recently.
But the quality of colleges other than bit sindri is not very appreciative.
The placement and infrastructure scenario of other colleges are very low and you have very less of getting placed in other colleges.
So according to my opinion this is not a wise decision to take admission through jcece in college other than bit sindri.
But if your rank is not much good than you can look for other colleges through jcece , i am providing you the link of colleges through jcece.

Under what rank one can get bit sindri having obc 1 category?

Hello ritish
For a general candidate the stable rank is within cml 1000.
And for a obc candidate it can be approximated within
cml 1200.
Actually closing rank varies every year based on the quality of students applied and their branch preferences.
Previous year closing rank for a general candidate was about cml 1200 but this happen very rarely and cannot be considered as a stable rank.
So if you are a obc 1 category student your cml rank should be below 1200 for getting some branches.
For getting the core branches your rank should be below cml 500.
And since this is the first time bit sindri is taking admission through jee mains there can be ups and down on the cutoff rank of various branches.

ELIGIBILITY

BIT Sindri B.Tech course is open for the candidates with 45% marks in 10+2 (Science Stream). Final Selection to the program is based on JCECEEntrance Exam score followed by the allocation of seats through JCECEB Counselling (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board).

Candidates looking for Lateral Entry to B.Tech program must hold Diploma in Engineering. Selection to the same will be strictly based on JCECE examination merit list.

All admissions (except lateral admissions-10%) will be strictly based on JCECE examination merit list.
Admissions will be done through counselling sessions held at the Science & Technology campus of JCECE board.
The merit list will be prepared subject group-wise and the courses will be allocated on this basis only.
After selection of the course and confirmation of admission, the candidates have to appear at BIT Sindri campus in order to complete the admission formalities.
Document verification will be done at the time of counselling.

Which college is best under jcece other than bit sindri..?

There aren’t any good colleges in JCECE apart from BIT Sindri as far as I know.

But you can consider other govt. colleges accpeting JCECE scores, if you just need a degree without getting much money out of your pocket.Some names of the college are as below:-

Can I get BIT Sindri through JCECEB with mains rank 100497?

Hello Mohit.
You must know that the from this year bit sindri is taking admission on the basis of jee main ranking.
But there is separate counseling process for jcece and your are required to fill the form for that.
If you have filled the form of jcece then you must have got your state cml rank , your admission will be on the basis of your state cml rank .
But you have not mentioned you state cml rank so its difficult to predict your stability.
But as per the data available with me its shows that your
State cml rank is (620).
So i can say that you have very high chance of getting bit sindri.
You can get almost all branches except
Mechanical engineering (very low chance)
Metallurgy.                        (High chance).
Electrical engineering.     (Low chance)
Cse.                                     (No chance)
Mining.                               (High chance)
IT.                                         (Average chance)
Chemical engineering.     (High chance)
Production engineering. ( High chance)

BIT SINDRI is the most reputeted college which take admission through jceceb.
So the competition is tough for taking admission in this institute.
Normally the cutoff rank for almost all branches lies within
1000 and you are far from this , so sorry to say you have no chance of getting admission in bit sindri.

But you can take admission in other colleges through jceceb.

our college has of the best infrastructure in terms of state government colleges all across India, although it is 75 years old but renovation is being done in our college time to time and we assume that by end 2027 our college infrastructure will be equivalent or greater than NITs.

Overall its and good and value for money College

Quite pretty infrastructure . Our college has a neat and clean campus our campus has a very greenery in nature. Our college has so much facility like auditorium, lecture hall,play gound, seven lakes and they all are renovating and newly made.

College Infrastructure

My college is well structured. All the branches have well equipped laboratories. Classrooms are also well furnished and spacious. All the rooms are large and have all the necessary facilities like furnitures, electricity, smart classes,etc. all the academic buildings have wifi installed in them. Workshops are also very good and knowledgeable. The hostel rooms are also good but have space issues. The hostel rooms don't have wifi installed but you can install one on your own. The hostels have solar panels so electricity supply is 24/7. The mess food are very good and hygienic.
