For a SC candidate,if his rank us under cml 2000 then he/she can get all the branches of bit sindri.
But if his/ her rank is under cml 3500 then also they can get other branches like production engineering, chemical engineering, mining, metallurgy etc.
The data provided above is on the basis of previous year scenario.
The cut-off rank varies every year and this year anything can happen because this is the first time bit sindri is taking admission through jee mains.

According to the new rules of JCECE, the state rank is given on the basis of CML rank of JEE mains exams. Those who have qualified for the mains exam are eligible to go through JCECEB counselling. It has given a state rank according to mains rank, so if the rank is around 236 in jharkhand state then he will absolutely get admission in BIT sindri in a good branch.
JCECE has released state merit rank from online registration of the candidates who got registered themselves till 3rd July. The counselling will be in the month of July itself and accordingly, 1 to 800 rank, counselling will be done in first week of July in offline mode in Ranchi.

You have not mentioned your category but seeing your category rank you must be obc. So in obc with 1964 CML you will not get BIT SINDRI as the college cutoff is increased each year and for getting bit sindri by its lowest branch in obc your rank must be around 1000 and you are far more than that.

Hey there
You have chances of getting bit sindri but you will get lower branches like production, Chemical, mining etc. Core branches like electrical, mechanical and CSE is tough for you. ECE and electrical in bit sindri has almost same cutoff so you have no chances of getting CSE. Cutoff of the college is increasing every year so can't exactly say about your chances of getting the college.

You can get almost all branches.
You can get branch like mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science and engineering in 2nd counseling.
But you can get other branches in 1st counseling only like
Civil engineering, chemical,ece, production engineering,
Metallurgy, mining and IT.

The chances of your Bit Sindri is moderate. You may not get branches like CSE or ECE with this rank but you might get lower branches like Production and Mechanical. Admission in Bit Mesra is possible for CML rank up to 8000 for SC. Your chances are very much in borderline. Though you might not get anything in round 1 but many students do leave there seats due to getting better options in later rounds of JoSAA. You can get the seat in BIT Sindri with lower branches. BIT Sindri College is better than Haldia Institute of Technology. Computer Science Engineering course from BIT Sindri College is better than Computer Science Engineering course in Haldia Institute of Technology. Placements are also good there. So now yiu decide wisely.

Bit sindri is the only government college in Jharkhand rest are a joint venture of both private and government. Out of the various colleges in jcece bit sindri is at the top and far better than the rest. Other than bit sindri rear colleges have pathetic situations and so I will not suggest you to join those colleges by leaving you present one

Your rank is good and probably you can get all branches you want.
But you must know that in order to take admission in bit sindri , you must have the domicile of Jharkhand.
Since you are from bihar you are not eligible for taking admission in bit sindri until you have the domicile.
You can make your domicile of Jharkhand if you have completed your educational qualification from Jharkhand or if you have a piece of land in Jharkhand , but there is other restrictions too with this process.
But since you have mentioned that your are from other state , so sorry to say but you are not eligible for taking admission in bit sindri.

It is a worth college but you have to score descent in JEE.
College Infrastructure
our college has of the best infrastructure in terms of state government colleges all across India, although it is 75 years old but renovation is being done in our college time to time and we assume that by end 2027 our college infrastructure will be equivalent or greater than NITs.
Overall its and good and value for money College

Quite pretty infrastructure . Our college has a neat and clean campus our campus has a very greenery in nature. Our college has so much facility like auditorium, lecture hall,play gound, seven lakes and they all are renovating and newly made.

My college is well structured. All the branches have well equipped laboratories. Classrooms are also well furnished and spacious. All the rooms are large and have all the necessary facilities like furnitures, electricity, smart classes,etc. all the academic buildings have wifi installed in them. Workshops are also very good and knowledgeable. The hostel rooms are also good but have space issues. The hostel rooms don't have wifi installed but you can install one on your own. The hostels have solar panels so electricity supply is 24/7. The mess food are very good and hygienic.
