To get into BIT Sindri you have to crack the JCECE exam . Any rank below 900 will ensure you a call for counselling and any rank below 500 will guarantee you a seat. The marks every year depends on the number of students and the cutoff. Generally

can I get CS in BIT SINDRI, with CRL 183

Dear student,

With a CRL rank of 183 there are chances you will get CS in BIT Sindri. Just stay updated with the counselling dates and grab a seat as soon as possible as they have limited seats and CS is the most wanted branch.

You might be able to get some of the less preferred branches.

Hi Krishna Parida.

With a rank of 416 under BC 2 category, you won't be getting any seat in BIT Sindri. The cutoff for BC2 category is 188. So, your chances are very less.

can i get bit sindri mining branch in second counselling if my cml rank is 1488 as per jceceb 2018?

Hello Archit,

I am sorry but you don't have my chance if you are general category.

The cutoff rank maximum goes upto 600-700.
Mining branch with 1500+ rank is not possible in bit sindri.

What happens in counseling at bit sindri for m.tech admission

Hello Himanshu,

First of all , a list is generated on the college website where the name of students are listed and date are given for counselling.

Then the names will be called upon at the Counselling room according to the list.
The seat is filled accordingly

I think your rank is good but for best options you have check out the last year cut off and coresponding ranks and than you will get the full approximation about admission.

Your category rank is very good.
You will get any branch of your choice.
But it looks little difficult for CS and IT, as the branch is generally taken by the toppers.

College Infrastructure

BIT Sindri has a large campus with old but well-functioning labs, workshops and classrooms. Many buildings look outdated, yet the facilities for practical learning are strong. The library is big and full of technical books. Hostel infrastructure needs improvement, but overall, the campus is spacious and good for technical education.

Over all my experience in the college was very good .

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is very nice the college is spread across 400 acres and there is new infrastructure and buildings being made in the college additionally the college received lot of funding recently for development of more infrastructure.

Value for Money, and balance in all aspects

Good infrastructure, since the college is old. The class rooms have smart boards, Labs are equiped with the required instruments, central library has all the books that is reuired for acdemic study and even books for CAT Gate GMAT are also avl.
