UPES B.Tech Admissions 2026
ApplyRanked #43 among Engineering colleges in India by NIRF | Highest Package 1.3 CR , 100% Placements
Hi aspirant,
Both the ion colleges are good but there is no comparison between College of Engineering Pune and BITS Goa. College of Engineering Pune is the 3rd oldest Engineering College of India and there is a great demand of the college among the aspiring candidates. There is two mode of entrance at the college one is through JEE main examination and other is through MHT CET in the ratios 15:85. Moreover it is a government college and the fee structure of it is comparatively listen than that of Bits Goa.
So keeping these factors in mind definitely getting admission in BITS Goa is much easier as there is a single entrance examination for it only around 1 lakh students appear for the same.
Hope it helps!!
BITS is more preferred than DAIICT among students in terms of placement, exposure, academic environment, facilities.
Bits ranked most recommended than IITs.
Average salary is 12.50 in BITS which is 2 times than average salary of DAIICT i.e 6 lakh.
Fees is higher in BITS than DAIICT
BITS has different style of teaching which helps many students to get placed in top companies
You can choose according to your choice with the given points

Hey aspirant
It's a fantastic opportunity for students because it allows them to spend the first year of college studying common subjects with other single-degree students. They have the opportunity to pursue their interests for the entire year, and then, before the second year begins, an engineering degree is assigned to them based on the preferences they submitted at the end of the first year.
Many students use this to get a CS dual degree from one of India's most prestigious colleges.
Interdisciplinary combinations such as Eco+CS, Phy+CS, and Bio+Chemical. Phy+Mechanical, for example, are well structured to provide students with enhanced research opportunities and to allow them to complete double majors in 5 years. This looks good on your resume, especially if you want to move on with ms/phd .
See if you have no subject preferences, then I would recommend you to go for the BITS GOA Chemical Engineering. The chemical engineering course have a much better job scope compared to that of Mechanical Engineering. Also the BITS GOA have a better placement rates which can really give you a good scope to get employed. Now Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering both are core engineering fields but chemical engineering have a more job preference. If you know Mechanical engineering is one of the basic engineering sciences and there are a lot of applicability over the industries but still the mechanical engineering grads don't land good salary jobs. Also BITS GOA have a better infrastructure and faculties compared to that of MANIPAL. So factually, BITS GOA will be the most preferable choice for you.

Dear aspirant,
I don't think there would be a great difference instead of a tag so you should go ahead with vit vellore because in terms of fees also it would be the same. If you have that kind of calliber to crack microsoft,Amazon or other parallel companies then you can crack it with any college.
Yeah, though low, but chances are still there for you to secure BITS Goa Chemical with 247. Last Year, Last Iteration Cutoff for BITS Goa Chemical was 248. Hence you may need to wait till atleast 3rd Iteration. Other Good Options maybe, Civil/Chemical at BITS Hyderabad, Manufacturing at BITS Pilani (253 Lat Year Cutoff) or maybe M.Sc Chemistry at BITS Goa or Hyderabad.
Hi
BITS pilani- goa campus was established in 2004 and this private college offers 19 courses. It is approved by UGC, AICTE and has grade A NAAC accreditation. The college has great faculty and infrastructure and it is a value for money. The placement is great and provides 100% placement for CS department and 95% placement in other branches. Highest salary package was around 40 LPA and lowest salary offered was around 12 LPA. The average salary is 21 LPA. Top recruiters are amazon, tata motors, thermax, nvidia, skribble, google, Microsoft, apple.
Hope this helps
Hi aspirant, since you have 97 percentile in JEE mains so according to that your rank must lie in between 44k-49k and on this rank you may get into following NIT's and IIIT's:
etc.
If you want to choose between BITs and NIT, Goa then if you want to pursue B.Tech with better facilities with comprising off high costs for this you can choose BITs or else NIT Goa is not bad choice too.
Thank You.
When you have to compare two colleges and have to arrive at a conclusion then you have to choose some of the parameters. This parameters can be a distinct number of events but to conclude this answer I am choosing some of the most important parameters like:
See every BITS branch follows the same curriculum. The infrastructure are also great but if you want to discriminate in terms of the design of building then BITS Dubai have better building design. The Faculties of BITS are selected through the centralised recruitment so the teachers are obviously good in all the branches. So you can't discriminate the campuses. But I would say if you can afford BITS DUBAI then go for it because you will get a international standard to your education which will be more preferable for some companies. If you want to settle in Dubai or UAE then it will give you more prospect to it.
Both of the campus is extremely the same, so you can choose any of it. It will not make in big difference but there are advantage I provided above.
