BVRIT Narsapur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college provides separate hostels for boys. There are two separate boys hostels which can accommodate around 500 boys. The hostels ensure comfortable living of the students by providing them all the modern amenities such as a television room, indoor games room, water cooler, reading room etc.

BVRIT Narsapur offers a girls hostel with all the modern facilities and amenities such as well-equipped rooms, 24*7 drinking water, geysers, indoor games room, television etc. The girls hostel can accommodate a maximum of 200 girls.

The college has a wellness centre that takes care of the emergency needs of the teachers and students. A residential doctor is also present at the wellness centre for medical needs. Regular medical checkups are also organised for the students and staff.

The institute offers a well-equipped gym with modern facilities such as dumbbells, treadmills, cross trainers etc for the physical well-being of the students.

The library of the college has a wide collection of books, reference collections, national and international journals in various disciplines such as science, engineering and technology, CD-Roms, video cassettes etc. The library uses the SOUL library software package. The library has subscriptions of various online e-journals like IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, J-Gate DELNET/NDL etc.

The college has well-equipped sports grounds for playing a variety of sports. The college also has a well-equipped indoor sports complex for the students. Various tournaments and sports meets are regularly held by the college.

The institute has a computer centre with internet access through leased lines.

The institute offers a well-equipped cafeteria and serves healthy and hygienic food for the students and faculty members. The college also has a food court within the campus that serves delicious food at reasonable rates.

The college has a 600 seater well-equipped auditorium with audio-visual facilities for hosting a variety of events such as guest lectures, speaker sessions etc.

BVRIT has located around 50 Kms away from Hyderabad at Narsapur, Medak (District). One can reach only by road. More than 55 college buses are plying from various corners of Hyderabad, from Sangareddy, Medak, etc. If anyone is commuting by a TSRTC bus they have to board the buses at Jubilee Bus Station, bound to Narsapur, Medak and Bodhan.

To build its network, and to keep a connection with its graduated students, BVRIT started an Alumni Association in 2002 called the BVRIT Alumni Association (BAA). In 2008 the BAA started its own website developed by CSIT 2008 matriculated students.

The college offers wireless internet access on campus for the practical learning purposes of the students.

The institute offers e-classroom with all the tools of ICT integrated in its learning halls for the benefit of the students.

The college offers spacious and well-furnished departmental based laboratories for the benefit of the students.

The institute offers an extension counter of The State Bank of Hyderabad- Narsapur Branch within the campus for the benefit of the teachers and students.
