MAKAUT Kolkata Facilities
Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), Kolkata provides wide array of facilities for the staff and students. MAKAUT University facilities include hostels, libraries, sports facilities, medical facilities, laboratories and many more. MAKAUT University facilities provided by the university helps the students in experiencing a comfortable and enjoyable learning environment. MAKAUT facilities also include separate hostels for boys and girls.
MAKAUT University has banking and ATM facilities for the students and staff. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology campus facilities include the library which has a huge number of books and journals. MAKAUT sports facilities include facilities for tennis, football, badminton, basketball, and other games. The university also has a gym that caters to all the fitness needs of the students.

- Boys Hostel
The university has a separate hostel for boys. MAKAUT hostel offers all the facilities to fulfil the basic requirements of students.
- Girls Hostel
There is a separate hostel for girls in the university to accommodate the girl's students. The hostel is well-equipped with all the basic amenities that makes the hostel life easy and comfortable for the girl students.
- Medical/Hospital
A health centre is present on the campus. It caters to all the medical needs of the students and staff.
- Library
MAUKAT has a spacious and well-stocked library. The library has both e-resources and print resources. It has a total collection of 25965 books among which 10131 are e-books ,6000 ( approx.) e-journals 20 print journals including 4 foreign journals. The library also has a good collection of CDs, audio cassettes and DVDs. The library is now focusing on e-resources.
- Sports
The university believes in the overall development of the students, for this MAKAUT provided sports facilities for indoor and outdoor games. The games department also has facilities for badminton, chess, handball, cricket, football, table tennis, tennis, volleyball, etc.
- I.T Infrastructure
The Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology has an excellent IT infrastructure. Modern computer systems and internet facilities are available in the university.
- Cafeteria
The university has a spacious canteen with sufficient seating facilities which provides healthy and nutritious food to the students and staff.
- Auditorium
MAKAUT has a spacious auditorium where all the major university events take place. The auditorium is fully air-conditioned having a good seating capacity.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

MAKUAT classrooms is the best learning space for the students. All the classrooms are spacious and are according to the student’s requirements.

The university has a gym that helps the students in keeping their health and fitness in check.
- Banks/ATMs
Students don't have to go outside the university for withdrawal of money as the university offers ATM facilities on the university campus.
- Guest Room/Waiting Room
There is a guest house for the students' family members who come to visit them in the university and for the visiting faculty members.

College Infrastructure
My college infrastructure is big and neat and clean. College provide has some facilities like lab, classroom, library, and also provide canteen facility with hygienic food . With well maintained everything.
Good academics, average placements, overall good experience.

MAKAUT provides adequate infrastructure with classrooms, labs, library, sports facilities, and hostels. Facilities vary across affiliated colleges, but most support academic learning. Living spaces are generally clean and hostel food is hygienic.
