Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology, Lucknow Placement Cell organises various training sessions for the students and conducts the placement activities smoothly. It also conducts career counselling programme for them in order to guide them in their careers related decisions. Yes , I think if it is an option then you should select it. It is a good college with very helpful faculties and good studying environment. Moreover, it is better than any other branches of CIPET. Although the placements are quite average. But as I have heard it really prepares you well if you are planning for higher studies. The average salary is around 20-25K but that is just a starting salary and many have seen increase in there salary later on.

The campus is situated in the industrial area with lots of greenery and ground for sports activity. The campus includes lecture hall , administrative building,workshop, various laboratories , auditorium etc. Faculty- highly educated and experienced . Not even a single faculty is non MTECH . Faculty is recruited from CIPET Guindy , Chennai ( Headquarter). Facilities - It includes library( digital also), seminar hall, conference hall, canteen , hostel ( within college campus), wifi campus , gym , various clubs for students.
The institute offers decent opportunities of placement because of being in the capital city but some might face a problem.
It is said to have gotten a placement if you get selected for a job in a company ( like TCS, Adobe, etc.) If you have completed your diploma, then you have to appear for examination/ interview with a company or organisation to get a job. When you get a job, then only it is said that you are placed. Sometimes companies visit colleges to select students for a job. If there are companies visiting your college, then you can sit for the interview and if you are selected, then you get a placement. If no companies are visiting your college then you have to yourself apply to various different companies so that you can give interviews and get a job if selected.
