The CMRIT campus is a lively one with huge, well-ventilated classrooms with projectors, sophisticated labs, a huge multi-storied library with a wide range of books, good sports facilities, ample seminar halls, and adequate parking space. All the facilities provided are well maintained and kept up to date. The food provided in the canteen is priced decently with a lot of choices to pick from along with an in-house CCD. The campus is designed with a huge ground with ample facilities.
ECE is a core technical subject that provides ample opportunity for one to pursue any branch of post-graduation. It also gives a wide exposure to the various technologies which make a big difference in today's world, which encouraged me to pursue this field. Along with academics, students can explore various aspects of their personality through the many Clubs, events, programs, and fests held in the college. The campus crowd and campus life is enjoyable for everyone.
The college has a good placement drive with around 70-80% of the students getting placed by the end of their course. The placements department works hard to provide the students with opportunities from big and established companies through their Tie Your Laces(TYL) program, which trains students in aptitude, soft skills, and coding. With around 105 companies visiting this year, the highest package offered was 25lpa by Amazon and the average package offered was 6.37lpa.
My course which is B.E in Electronics and Communication cost me Rs.89056 per year including the college fee and the placements training fee, excluding hostel, commute fees, etc. Having joined through KCET, the fees is surely reasonable and the training received in college is moneys worth.
The college campus is splendid and the students have an opportunity to take part in various events that are conducted throughout the year, technical and non-technical, by the various clubs in CMRIT, which are informative as well as fun. The faculty here are always helpful, encouraging, and motivating students to reach higher goals. The overall experience and environment is a jolly one.
The campus is well designed keeping in mind the overall development of the students. Classrooms and labs are well equipped with boards, projectors and a good environment for the learning process. There is a playground, canteen, parking lot & various courts such as basketball, volleyball, table tennis and football courts. Free wifi and hostel facilities are available. The living places are clean and the food is hygienic.
I am pursuing Information science Engineering. I personally feel that academics here as whole make us job-free for the outside world. We follow the VTU curriculum, which tries its best to update the syllabus. Apart from delivering the syllabus effectively, the college also encourages us to work on live projects as part of centre of excellence. The professors here are very approachable, they encourage students to come with innovative ideas.
We are trained to be placement-ready since the very first semester. Some top recruiting companies are Amazon, 42 Hertz, Dell, Infosys, IBM, Huawei, Hindustani unilever limited, HDFC bank, Flipkart, TCS, Wipro etc., The average package this year 5-6 lac per annum
My course cost me around 80000 rupees per year. It is worth the money as there are many training, activities and placements that takes place to enhance the skills and knowledge and become industry ready.
There are a good set of peers and faculty. The campus life is interesting along with various sports, fests and extra curicullar activities being conducted.
College infrastructure is good. Our college has well equipped classroom projectors screen and all those stuffs and living place is hygiene and canteen food is also good with reasonable price also.Overall it is good.
I studied MBA. The quality of teaching is good the professors are supportive. Our college affiliated to vtu university syllabus is based on vtu syllabus. Curriculum is updated according to vtu IAT pattern is also according to vtu.
Placement cell works effectively to place a students in good company. Highest package is 7lLp.a 80% got placed from our college. Average package is 4L pa. In our college marketing students got good placement.
I joined through pgcet I paid Rs 63000 other than pgcet fee and it is worthful.
In our college we have so many clubs so that candidate can engage themselves in whichever they are interested in.
College is good and it's worth joining there is also a hostel facility for students who come from different states.
the college has all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment. Very good library and hostel facilities are good but I feel a bit expensive compared with outside. food available in the college canteen is pretty
I am pursuing my MBA in cmrit, the quality of teaching is good ,the curriculum is updated and includes all development in the fields and make me jobready ,the guidance and support we get from the faculty is very good and it will help us prepare for this competitive world
The placements are good and the support which we get for upskilling self is pretty good and the best part of training is ,it is given along with the subjects so that we will be trained for the competitive present world
The classes are good and as of now the new MBA batch is being shifted to a very nice and new building and eagerly waiting.
I am enjoying the campus life ,there are many events and activities conducted by branches ,the faculty is good with students and the guidance from teachers are really good and supportive .
Yes have all the necessary infrastructure , facilities and equipment. We have a library , sports center, basketball court and Canteen , food is is clean and maintained well hygenic.Everything here is great. Overall best place to gain knowledge and will get best experience.
Quality of teaching is good and teachers deliver the is updated and it will be shared with students mail I'd if there is any change or update in curriculum. They help you with subjects if you are lagging behind. They encourage you to push your limits .
Placement is good they provide opportunies but we have it make it ,they provide placement training from the beginning only where they teach aptitude , logical reasoning and softskills. They are numerous opportunities but you have to grab
It costs around 90k per year, including Kea fees.
It is best where you can meet people from different states. Teacher's are very supportive and friendly.
The campus is well designed keeping in mind the overall development of the students. Classrooms and labs are well equipped with boards, projectors and a good environment for the learning process. There is a playground, cafeteria, canteen, parking lot & various courts such as basketball, volleyball, table tennis and football courts. Wi-Fi and Hostel facilities are available. The living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.
I am currently pursuing my Bachelors of Engineering in ECE as I was interested in it. The quality of teaching is really good. The ECE department faculty are well experienced and many hold/ are pursuing their PhDs. The curriculum is relevant. Makerspace lab provides an opportunity to explore.
Around 70-80% of the students are placed. The highest package this year was 30 LPA by Amazon. Top recruiters include Amazon, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS etc. A special program called TYL is offered by the placement department that aims to make us placement and industry ready. They aim to train us in various fields such as aptitude, coding, soft skills etc.
The college fees has some variation every year. For my batch we have to pay 90000 per year if we have got the admission through KCET. If the admission was through COMEDK, then the amount is 2.3L per year.
College campus is excellent. CMRIT has a variety of technical clubs, non-technical clubs and an IEEE student branch. They conduct webinars, seminars, hackathons, workshops and much more. Fests such as Cultura, Aura and Spardha are the highlights of the college, encouraging extra curricular activities. The college is located in a prime location, thus making it accessible to various other locations.
College provides all the necessary equipment in the labs as well as in the class. Library has lots of books with a friendly environment. There are smart class in every classroom. Canteen foods are also good but overcrowded.
I'm doing engineering in ECE department. Teachers are well trained and are student friendly. Teachers give lots of time to the student in the class as well as in the staffroom. They help you in every matter of life
Placements are good here with anual average package of ₹450000 and about 120 companies visit the college every year. About 90% of student are placed in 2021-2022 academic year and placements are still going on.
It cost me around ₹235000 i won't tell that it's a good deal but it's okay but I'm happy with my college.
College experience is really good you'll make good friends and you'll have annual fest and technical feast on regular basic.
Infrastructure of the college is good, library, auditorium, Sports complex, college ground, parking lot. The campus area is average i.e not good enough compared to other colleges. There have been different blocks for different trades.
Academics is quite good in this college and also strict. There are 3 internals held in the college before giving the final university exam. Before time the syllabus is completed in every semester. Faculties here have good knowledge over there subjects and teaches well.
In last few years the placement has increased and good companies come into the college. Though the criteria to sit in the placement is ridiculous, if have to pass 3 aptitude, 3 softskills, 3 coding etc test in college itself first. If you fail to do so until and unless you pass, they won't make u sit in the placement, even you have a good GPA average. But at last good companies also come into the college
CMRIT is value for money for Karnataka students only. Though the academics is good and placement also, its too costly for average middle class family. You need to pay 2.5lac per annum just the tution fees.
Campus life is good but not great. Extra cirriculum outdoor activites are not held rather than some sports and a fest every year. One can hangout with their colleagues in the campus and are free to use sports equipment to play sports
Overall college is good than the most of the colleges in VTU. The location is prime, any companies are in there at the college location to which it becomes easy for college to call good companies.
CMRIT is affiliated to VTU.Students can enter the college through KCET Or COMED-k and management too. The infrastructure of our college is we have different blocks like basic science department, mechanical department, hostel, canteen building, etc. We have many facilities like students get scholarships and many job opportunities. There are sports equipments and many others . Our classrooms have smart boards and they are very oftenly used. Food in college is good and worthful for what we pay.
I'm pursuing my bachelors degree in electrical and electronics engineering. I have chosen this course as my knowledge in electronics is good and I'm interested to study more on it. The teaching quality is excellent. The faculties are very professional and experienced. They have a very good subject knowledge and they guide us at every point. Yes, the curriculum is updated and teachers not only tell about the Sylabbus but they give us more knowledge than that which is very useful.
In our college students are trained for placements. We have a seperate section for placement. About 70% of students have been placed every year in our college. The highest package offered is 23L and it I was offered to a CS student. The average package is about 3L .
As my seat was alloted through KCET I had to pay about 50,000 to the government and 30,000 for college. Im satisfied with the money that I'm paying and the knowledge I'm gaining.
Although the college campus is comparatively small, it has all the necessary infrastructure such as ample parking, hostels, classrooms with projectors, a multi storied library and a sports center. The library as well as the classrooms are maintained well. Getting the WI-FI password can be a bit of a hassle so most people refrain from doing so. The canteen has food that isn't too expensive and can be pretty filling.
Teachers are approachable and willing to clear doubts at all hours of the day. New subject such as Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning allow us to keep up the changes of the world. Information Science is just as good a stream as Computer Science. There are not too many differences between the two streams and one can apply for an equivalent degree in computer science if they are not satisfied with an Information science degree provided they have a good enough GPA.
Almost everyone who applied for placements has got a job already. The placement department works very hard on our behalf to bring companies to the college. I believe the highest package was of 27lpa secured by a person from the computer science department.
The information science course costed approximately eighty thousand rupees annually. The last two years I did not feel like I got my money's worth as classes were online and we were not able to fully utilize all the resources of the college properly due to the ongoing pandemic.
The college has a bunch of activities that take place every year like fests, sports meets, etc. The campus is also not too far from the heart of Bangalore but sometimes the traffic could get a little frustrating at peak hours. Student, teaches and staff are friendly and converse in English.
