Dehradun Institute of Technology Dehradun boys’ residences can accommodate 1,200 boys. The hostel rooms are modern, and the hostel provides well-equipped kitchens and dining halls where food is cooked and served in clean and hygienic conditions. The dining hall can serve over 600 boys at any given time. To ensure pest-free surroundings, pest control services are utilised. Purified cold and warm water (during winter) is provided to the students. The hostel's weekly menu is well planned in consultation with the Students’ Mess Committee to provide variety, nutritious and wholesome food to the students. 

The college girl's hostel rooms are well ventilated and adequately furnished. The hostel can accommodate over 1,000 girls in comfort. All residences have modern and well-equipped kitchens and dining halls where food is cooked with proper hygiene. During winter the students get purified cold and warm water. The weekly menu is well planned in consultation with the Students’ Mess Committee to provide variety, nutritious and wholesome food to the students. Special meals are provided at festivals.

Dehradun Institute of Technology Dehradun provides gymnasiums for both the boys and girls. The gym is well-equipped, and the services of a trainer are available for the students.

The college has the library facility for all students. The library is filled with a vast collection of books, magazines, e-resources, journals and others.

The college adopts special measures to ensure that the students are provided with healthy and hygienic food. There are 3 cafeterias in different blocks of the campus. The cafeterias and other eateries are functioning based on the ‘Pay As You Eat Concept', like CCD. DIT University provides a student with all the amenities and facilities to enjoy the metro lifestyle right within the campus.

The college has a well-equipped functional infirmary which caters to the first aid and limited outpatient medical services of the DIT University staff and students. The infirmary is run and managed under the guidance of qualified and experienced doctors of the prestigious Max Super Speciality Hospital, Dehradun. A lady medical officer is available on campus during the better part of the day, and nursing staff and an ambulance are available 24×7.

Dehradun Institute of Technology Dehradun has the sports facilities for all students. There are indoor games such as carrom, chess, and table tennis and outdoor games such as football and cricket and other facilities provided to students. 

The college provides a banking/ATM facility for students and staff, from which an in-house computerised OBC Bank functions on campus. The ATMs of OBC and Axis Bank are housed on the premises of the building, which provides a round-the-clock ATM facility on campus. This facility can be availed by the students and staff of the college. On enrolment, every student can open an account with a bank and can make full use of banking services, Internet banking and ATM facilities. Internet banking and telebanking are also available here.

The college, considering that a variety of events like conferences, seminars, cultural programmes, debates, plays and other programmes are conducted throughout the year, houses an auditorium and numerous other performing areas which facilitate the students' carrying out their activities in the right environment smoothly and with ease. The University Auditorium is centrally air-conditioned with a fully soundproof setup and equipped with the latest technology for all types of audio/video presentations. A number of small digital auditoriums are also available for seminars, meetings, workshops, and others. 500 seated capacity An air-conditioned auditorium with ultramodern sound facilities is available on the campus for conducting functions.
