it was established in year 2001 and is affiliated to visvesvaraya technological university,Bslagavi (VTU) , it is spread in an area of 30 acres. the institute has got recognition from AICTE, government of karnataka, NBA ,NAAC, UGC. as per 2020 rankings ,it was ranked 55th in Engineering Colleges (VTU) , 71st in Management Colleges (VTU).

so it is a good college, one of the  leading engineering college in bangalore. the facilities provided are also good , like library, smart rooms and much more.

In second round the cut offs for BNM Institute of Technology went to 13812 so you have very tough chance to get seat in Electronics and Communication Engineering in the third round so it is better to lock your choice to Don Bosco Institute of Technology. This year the cut offs fluctuated a lot in the counselling procedure.

Both the institutes are more or less comparable as are the other nearly 100 good Technical Institutes all over Bangalore. The institutes have more or less good infrastructure, faculty and structured curriculum, at par with VTU's curriculum followed by eminent institutes like RVCE, BMSCE and MSRIT.

You should remember that the  sessions in  all the colleges starts from April to July there are already running sessions, firstly when they will pass out then after new sessions will start so about in all colleges even semester exams ands in the mid of April so with taking a gap of 1 to 2 month we can consider that the new sessions will start in June to July
