Go for cse in GCE Salem . It is good college with decent facilities . Decent infrastructure and supporting staff and faculty. About 70-75% of the students from cse course got placed . The highest salary package offered in course is 6.5 LPA, and

Government College of Engineering Salem has not release the Bachelor of Engineering Computer Science cutoff list for MBC category for TNEA counselling due to some reasons. But it is expected that Government College of Engineering Salim will soon release the cutoffs for Bachelor of Engineering Computer Science course for MBC

It's not about the place but the stream that you need to consider as the two branches are very distinct from one another and provide diverse career opportunities.
