Honestly speaking, IEM has all the important facilities and infrastructures for persuing engineering degree. The class rooms are neat and clean, yeah, we don't have AC in our class rooms. But simple chairs with desk, which is sufficient. Each class room has a projector and screen. Otherwise everything is there like, table, chair, board, fans, and you have wall clocks to be in time. Overall enough to be satisfied. Libraries are well equipped and organised.

I am in ECE department. All our faculties are very Frank are highly knowledgeable for sure. Regular classes are going on. Highly disciplined. No way to bunk classes, In spite of you are enough good to do that. Research works and innovative projects are entertained and funded also, if exceptional. Many fests, competitions, quizzes, exhibitions go on every now and then. These are well entertained.

I have not been placed yet, as I am in 3rd year. But previously everyone of my department were placed. IT companies are main mass recruiters for sure. Otherwise some core companies also come every year.

I am a TFW candidate. Don't have to pay any kind of tuition fees. But it is around 50000/- each sem. Lodging and fooding and other expenses are excluded.

It's enjoyable if you are not expecting something very crazy out there. Because you will be in strict discipline. You may get exhausted some times due to some stupid discipline issues, but otherwise it is good overall. You will definitely enjoy, if perticipate in clg fests and competitions, or be volunteers or as sports person also you will get some chances a year.

It is among the top private engineering college in West Bengal.It has been ranked 'A' category by NAAC.This institute is having good placement records. All the places in this institute are clean and hygienic. Libraries are open for 24 hour. canteen is also clean and hygienic.But some of the labs are not having all the equipments. Though this college is not having any playground but it organizes sport events,cricket tournament,marathon etc.

Academics is average good.Some of the teachers are well knowledgeable and overall all the teaching faculties are very friendly.In some cases curriculum must be updated like several times students marks are judged by their attendances that should not be.

Here the placement cell is quite strong.All the IT companies and some of the core companies came here to recruit students.Above 90 percent students are placed through on campus recruitment.The lowest salary package offered are almost 4 LPA. This college is very supportive in this placement purpose and it also encourage us to go for higher studies.

Semester fees are quite high because it is not govt funded .It is around 50,000.It gives you well infrastructure and disciplined life.If you are interested in doing job in those dream companies like CTS,TCS,Infosys then this college is for you to achieve your goal.

College campus is not so big and it is seperated by several buildings,It is located in College more,saltlake ,electronic complex.All the teachers are very supportive and teacher student relations are very friendly.

If you want to get a secure IT company job then you should go for this college. Here the seniors and professors are very helpful and gentle.But the college is more like schools less like college.You have to follow strict rules like wearing unifrms daily and have to do assignments and must obey discipline,

IEM,Kolkata has total three main buildings out of which two are for engineering students.They are located near big companies like TCS,etc.The college comprises of classrooms equipped with cctv cameras,projector,etc.The laboratories have proper machines and well maintained equipments which are used in the experiments.It has a big canteen along with cafe coffee day.Each semester we can borrow subject books from 24/7 AC library .It also has basket ball court and hostel for boys and girls .

All the professors in IEM are quite knowledgeable and very much experienced.Some of the professors are known by their name and they teach us practically all the applications of the concepts.Some of them make us prepare for competitive jobs and placements.IEM is affiliated to MAKAUT and each year the syllabus is revised.

The placements here are good and about 90-95 % students get placed from electrical department.The highest package offered was around 40 lakhs which was from CSE branch while the average package is around 5-6.5 lakhs per annum.The placement process is normal and there is a separate placement team which helps you get placed.

The fees of this college is just like any government college.The average fees for BTech course is 1 lakh per year.The fees paid here is quite worth the quality of education one is getting along with the discipline one is getting.

The two buildings namely Gurukul and Mangement building are located near to each other.But the campus isn’t big enough,outside the building there are lots of food stalls and walking path.The students here come from different state through entrance exam.They engage in different events,sports festivals.The location of this college is quite good as many big companies are located near by.There are security guards around the campus,near the gates.There are three way exits,one of them being fire exit.

Overall it is very nice college,one can develop lots of skills and acquire good knowledge.This college not only maintains discipline but also helps us become better human being.You will also be assured of getting placed in the final year provided you have done hard work as well as get selected in examinations like Gate,etc

This college is the oldest private Engineering Institute of West Bengal. All the classrooms are equipped with projectors and big black boards. The entire College campus is supported with high speed Wi-Fi facility. Laboratories are equipped with all types of experiments at ups and modern day high-end technologically advanced kits (3D printer). Inhouse canteen is present which variety of foods. There also dedicated labs for technical innovations directly funded by central government and e-cell.

College is under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). It follows the curriculum of the university hello with providing impetus to various topics for technological advancement. Most of the teachers are highly qualified and very helpful. The library is open 24x7 with huge variety of books.

The Institute claims100% placement for the eligible students. The highest salary offered is as high as 40 lpa and lowest salary is around 4 lpa. The average salary lies within 5 to 6 lpa. The above stats according to latest placement report.

College campus consists of a basketball court. Also mini golf course and cricket practice nets are available on the roof. But the college is very strict on its disciplines. Various kinds of events organised now and then engaging the students.
