Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by, A s per some students, faculties in mechanical branch is well qualified for the job, however syllabus need modification. Infrastructure is good , proper Hygienic food is provided in mess. placement record is good with highest package of 8 LPA and average package of 3.5 LPA ,however placement record depend on students performance so its not fixed. I would recommend you to go for asaam University Silchar . I would compare the two colleges on the basis of three things placements, faculty, campus(including hostel mess).

So, in terms of placements Assam University in cse branch has an upper hand because in gurughasidas majorly mass recruiting companies like tcs , wipro, Infosys , Accenture while that's not the case in Assam University. The faculty of both colleges are pretty average. The hostel and mess of guru ghasidas is not good enough . You will get bored of it from the beginning itself.
