Both colleges are performing best at their own places, but as everything has pros and cons both. If you will compare both the colleges together you will find Budge Budge Institute of Technology is better than Bengal Institute of Technology at several points. Firstly, BBIT has NAAC score of Grade 'B' whereas BIT has none. Number of student and intake faculty of BBIT is also more than BIT. Hi Rahul,
This does not depends on college like you are from Ramaiha institute of technology or any other, this varies from company to company. If the company coming for placements allow all branch students to sit in their placement exam, then yes, any branch STUDENT sit with placement cell of CS and IT student during placement time. But if company denies than college can't do anything.
Also, most of the big and product based companies allow students of all branches to sit in their placement examination.

Private colleges acquire funds from different sources. While govt. Colleges are funded by the state govt. Private colleges do not get any funds from state govt. They rely on fees gained by the students of the college and some other contributions. Facilities are somehow better in private universities than govt. ones. Iits, nits, iiits and gfit's are some good govt. Engineering colleges with excellent facilities.
