the average income of the students is around 7LPA.

branches that should be preferred are-

• chemical engineering- a lot of companies prefer to hire students from this branch
• electronic instrumentation engineering- second best among your choices.

The placements for Industrial Engineering record for iem department is good compared to other vtu colleges.  highest package in iem was 6.75 LPA and average salary was 4.5 LPA Around 85% of the students were placed on campus  .

Both the branches are  good . So ,choose wisely .

Placement wise Industrial engineering is better than civil engineering . Why because 12 percentage of placements is increased compared to 2017 -18. While coming to civil engineering  13 percentage of placements is decreased compared to 2017 - 2018.
