Dear applicant, if you really wish to take Electronics and Communication Engineering then you can try for UIET. But as a college JSS Noida is pretty much better option than UIET. If you think of placements JSS will give you starting package of 3-5 LPA as a fresher. Now the College has extremely good academic environment, the infrastructure is sophisticated and you would have a comfortable Campus life there.

JSS Academy of Technical Education was established in 1997 by JSS Mahavidyapeetha. The college is situated in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. JSS Academy of Technical Education is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technical education, Lucknow and got accreditation from National Board of Accreditation (NBA) up to 2023 for its five UG courses. JSS Academy of Technical Education offers BTech, MTech and MBA in various specialisations. The institution has collaborations with Colorado Heights University, Denver, USA for student exchange programme. JSS has other facilities for students such as IBM Centre of Excellence, Nokia Mobile Innovation Labs, etc. for enhanced exposure.

There are 80% placements for students who belong to CS or IT branches. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA in 2019 by Adobe, whereas the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered in CS IT is around 4 LPA-6 LPA, which is provided by mass recruiting MNC's like TCS, Infosys etc. Top companies which visited here in the last 4 years are TCS, Infosys, Samsung, HCL, Amazon, IBM, Mahindra etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is quite good compared to other colleges in Delhi, NCR. There are various sports opportunities for students who are interested in sports such as football, cricket ground, volleyball, badminton and basketball court. There are other facilities like a gym and table tennis for hostellers. The library is quite impressive, and all the course-related books are available in the library. Labs and classrooms are not much spacious. There are 24x7 Wi-Fi facilities available in the library, labs and in hostels. The food available in the mess and canteen is not much acceptable and the quality of food is as good but ok.

Faculty: Faculty members of the institute are very much supportive and highly qualified. Most of them are Ph.D degree holders. They focus on providing an in-depth understanding of concepts to students. Some teachers are strict regarding exams and attendance.

An event named Zelicon is held every year in the month of November or December. In this event, there are ample of opportunities for students in singing, dancing, stunts, poetry, drama, robotics and many more. There are some scholarships for students who reside in Uttar Pradesh or those who belongs to the economically weaker section (EWS).

Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College has got Grade B rating and 2.79/4 CGPA from NAAC whereas JSS Academy of technical Education Noida has not got any grade by NAAC, the median salary package of Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College for B tech course is RS 4 Lacs, and median salary package of JSS Noida is Rs 3 lacs, both the colleges were established in the year 1998, Both the colleges have private ownership, the campus size of AKG college is 40 Acres and of JSS Noida is 28 Acres.

Firstly let me clear your confusion by asking you to choose the branch you are interested with and then go for opting the college.

If you are willing to join IT Companies make sure to pursue CSE or else go for ECE.

By Comparing the colleges I suggest you to take AKGEC rather than JSS Noida. because it has lower fees compared to JSS Noida. There are many others factors favorable to AKGEC.

JSS NOIDA as it is better than AKGEC GHAZIABAD.

Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Academy of Technical Education(J.S.S. Academy of Technical Education) located in Noida is a private engineering institute which is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.

The placements are top notch for Computer Science and Engineering Department (CSE department) of the institute. The average package offered is 3.5-4 LPA in the institute. Aa per past placement records, Kronos hired four students for 15 LPA, Samsung offered 8-9LPA, Amazon hired three students offering package of about 18-19LPA.
