Hello Kalpak, your marks are lying in tbe range of 35-36k which means you are not eligible for the Nitte Meenakshi Institue of Technology,Banglore because the maximum closing ranks goes upto 18k and that too for Civil engineering. So,i suggest you to look for other colleges.
Thanks for connecting.Team careers360.
Hi,
Let me just start off with saying SIT is no IIT/NIT, it is an average private college and should be judged like one, so people comparing it with those colleges are just comparing wrong things. That being said it is one of the good ones in its own domain as far as the studies and the atmosphere goes.
Studies : SIT doesn’t like to make your studies easy. Mandatory 85% attendance in all subjects or you fail. Teachers are okay, some know what they’re doing most don’t (but from what i hear this is the case in every college). But the college makes you study even if you don’t want to, and you’ll appreciate it later. I know i do.
Make a decision on the basis of the above points for Siddaganga Institute of Technology
Hello.
NMIT Bangalore has decent Placements and is ranked in top 50 Engineering colleges in Bangalore and graded as NAAC 'A'.

The placements here are pretty average. Top companies like Amazon, Bosch, Godrej, Larsen Toubro coming from 2016 and hiring Mechanical engineering students.
Mechanical students have very few core companiesh coming here for placements. The Indian Navy also visited for placements.
The average salary for Mechanical engineering is 3.5lPA wigh majority of IT and Consulting companies to recruit.
The maximum package of 12 lakhs was offered by Hindalco in the year 2016.
The college is only best known for CSE branch, for Mechanical and core Engineering, colleges like top IITs and NITs are recommended.
Hope this is helpful.
Good luck.

Greetings Saiprudhvi!
Hope you're doing great.
If you compare both the colleges then you'll find the Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bangalore and Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management, Bangalore both are NAAC A accredited and both are autonomous college. If you look at the no. of seat available at the college NMIT offers way more than DSATM. The total number of student enrolled NMIT in the year 2018 was close to 5k whereas, DSATM has a campus size of 570 students. So, it's clear that you have more chances of getting admission into NMIT compare to DSATM.
To get admission into NMIT students can apply through, AMU, GMAT, CMAT and other several management entrance examination. For DSATM student need to appear for NATA and AMU CET to get a seat in the college.
Facility and infrastructure provide at both the campus are par with each other. The facility includes hostel, mess, Gymanisum, medical facility, wifi throughout the campus as well at the hostel, IT cell, major laboratories, Auditorium, convenience store and almost everything that one can expect at the big campus.
When it comes to campus size, NMIT is a clear winner which offers 23 Acres of the lush green, inbuilt ground, auditorium campus. On the other hand, DSATM has a campus size of 10 acres which is quite decent as well. Coming to college fees studying at NMIT is a bit more costly when compared to DSATM. The fee charged at both the campus is 2.5 lac and 1.8 lac per annum respectively.
When it comes to placements, the average package a student can expect at NMIT is somewhere around 4.2 CTC for management and for DSATM is between 4.5-5 CTC. Hence, both the college somehow provide similar packages to their students.
If you ask me, my vote is for DSATM for small batch size. As more students can get placed compare to the whooping size of NMIT. Rest select your college as per your convenience and geographical location.
Hope this will help. Do reach out in the comment section below if you have any query.
