NITTE MEENAKSHI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY & NEW HORIZON COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, both the institute are well known private institutes in Bangalore. Now the curriculum offered by both the institute are the same as they both are affiliated by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi . Infrastructurally and ambience wise NHCE is better compared to that of NMIT. Apart from this from the placement perspective as well NHCE is better. The faculties in both the colleges are of same standards although in some cases, the specialization variation among the faculties are more diverse in case of NHCE.
As you can see there are not much of a difference for both the colleges, now its your choice which one you will go for but NHCE will be a better choice from some of the perspective.

If you wish to shift your course from ECE to CSE, keep in mind Computer Science Engineering is a course that deals with design, implementation, and management of information systems of both software & hardware processes. Hello Aspirant!
Congratulation for your rank in COMEDK. As Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology(NMIT) is an autonomous engineering college in Bangalore, And according to current cutoff stats is around 4400- 5000. Hello dear,
Based on various factors like quality of education, infrastructure, placements, faculty members, exposure to extracurricular activities, innovative teaching methods etc., BNMIT gets an edge over the NMIT in the following respects.
Considering all these factors, BNMIT not only provides quality education but also has various other advantages that make it the better as compared to NMIT.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
Hello.
See it is not at all possible to answer you particularly. Both the colleges are good in different ways. It is completely your choice and it should be because you know what would be best for you. There are a lot of things you have to consider before joining an institution, such as whether the environment suits your or not, how the faculties are, what is the scope for extra curricular activities, the hostel facility, etc. So you need to make a decision keeping in mind these all things.
Hey aspirant,
Choosing between CSE and ECE can be a bit tricky but here are some key points which can help you make a better choice for yourself:
1. See if you want to learn coding and have keen interest in learning different machine languages. If this makes you happy then go for CSE.
2. ECE can be a better option for candidates who do not have a good knowledge about coding and see if other topics can interest them.
3. CSE ensures that you are going to IT sector but ECE can give you Job in IT sector as well as other core jobs.
4. Both CSE and ECE are good branches from placement point of view and highest package of any college comes from either of the branches almost every year.
As far as you are confused about the colleges....more or less there are similar facilities so go with the branch as I would like to say.
Hope this helps you.

We have very good infrastructure without a civil department, having well-equipped labs and machinery. Hostel facility is good but not great and the quality of food in mess is good with many varieties and the canteen price is quite expensive. We have well-equipped medical assistance. NITTE is a very good supportive of sports and games
Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They share emerging knowledge with the students, which is understandable and very effective. The course curriculum is relevant, but it goes away with some subjects that are not required. Semester exams are a bit difficult in order to maintain the respective pattern and level of exams. Pass percentage is about 30 to 35%.
NMIT Bengaluru offers good lab facilities, Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library for the ECE department. Hostels are clean with basic amenities, and the mess food is decent. Medical and sports facilities are also available on campus.
