Engineering has good placement opportunities through on-campus placement drives in PSG College of Technology. MBA or master of business administration is a two year full time postgraduate level degree programme offered by both PSG college of technology and PSG institute of management. I'll highlight the key differences among the two colleges :

• RANKING: ranking for psg college of technology is better. It has an A accreditation from NAAC.
• FEES : the fees for psg college of technology is way lesser than psg institute of management. It is 70,000 against 15 lakhs.
• Placements : Average package offered to students is around 5.8 lakhs per annum at PSG college of technology and 5. 3 lakhs per annum.
• Reviews: According to the students reviews, 4.1 rating is given to psg institute of management and 4.3 to psg college of technology.
• ENTRANCE : Psg college of technology accepts TANCET whereas psg institute of management accepts the CAT/MAT scores.

This really cannot be compared as both colleges are good at their specific branches and if you want to do ECE then PSG College Of Technology is good to go and if you want to opt for CS branch then Coimbatore Institute Of Technology is good and as you have mentioned you are weak in Physics and good in CS and Maths I would suggest you to select CS branch into Coimbatore Institute Of Technology.

the best chance of getting into PSG tech is through state counselling i.e if you want to get only on merit. This institute is one of the most coveted institute not just in the city, but in the entire state of Tamil Nadu. Your 12th standard scores has to be among the best in state to get a counselling option in PSG tech.If not or if you are from out of state your only option is to get in through Management quota, which will set you back at least a couple of million rupees (20Lakhs being the minimum).
