Most engineering colleges do allow stream change after first year only if you have a very good CGPA or percentage in the first year.Please contact MSRIT for this information.All the best!

 MSRIT ECE: The Placement  are pretty decent. Usually the students from CSE and ECE land up getting great salary packages compared to the other branches in this college. The highest salary packages offered till now are 50 Lacs and 40 Lacs (Adobe ). companies like Adobe, TCS, Wipro, Cisco, IBM, JP Morgan and many more companies .

CBIT : The placements are one of the best advantages of CBIT. 100% placements are guaranteed for CSE and IT students as many companies readily offer jobs to the students. Many well-reputed companies like Infosys, Microsoft, Google, etc., visit the college to recruit CSE and IT students. Tata and Tech Mahindra, etc., visit the college .

ECE is considered one of the best stream in MSRIT.But here facilities are not as per as standard.You will do yourself everything.If you are willing to do job in government sector then it is good.For that you have to prepare for GATE and ESE.Because only IT companies used to visit here.Few core companies used to visit and recruit single digit..

MSRIT Bangalore placements for ECE 

Placements are pretty well this year as well as last year. Almost 80 to 85 percent of students are placed every year. The highest package offered was 50LPA and the lowest was around 3LPA and 7-8 LPA is offered on an average. Companies like cognizant, wipro, dell, lenovo, uber, ola and many more companies have visited. The college also provides a placement cell where students can develop themselves.

Hey Ashish! In first year that is first and second semester of Engineering covers all the basics of all branches of Engineering and the entire course is theoretical so it is bit difficult. But for branch sliding you have to work extra hard. Hope this may help you.

MS Ramaiah Institute of technology, Bangalore is private autonomous institute. It has a AAAA ranking. This college is accredited by NAAC with A grade. 

M. Sc. Agriculture is not there in MSRIT. There are many other colleges for M. Sc. Agriculture.
