RIT BTech Admission and Selection Process 2019

Admissions to the 4 year undergraduate engineering programmes are given on the basis of the KCE or COMEDK UGET scores. The college admission s are governed by VTU which accepts these exams for admission to the university itself and the affiliated colleges.

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) to offer admissions to interested candidates in various undergraduate as well as professional courses, offered by different colleges in the state of Karnataka.

Candidates need to appear for CET in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects to secure admissions in Medical, Dental, Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy courses whereas those seeking admissions in Engineering / Technology courses conducted by KEA need to appear for entrance exams in Physics, Chemistry and Maths

Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED K) conducts a state-level examination called COMEDK UGET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) to offer admissions to interested candidates in engineering and medical degree courses offered by colleges/institutes that are affiliated to COMEDK.

The entrance test will be based on the existing syllabus of either 10+2 or 2nd PUC and candidates have to be thorough in all the topics taught so as to make it to the top COMEDK UGET colleges.
