Considering the previous year cut off rank list for RVCE through KCET, the minimum rank required for admission in RVCE through KCET under ST category is listed as follows:

·         403 for Computer Science and Engineering

·         7058 for Information Science & Engineering

·         2364 for Electronics &

Having studied in RV and having many friends in PESIT I think I can fairly say there is no outright winner in this contest.

Both are private colleges autonomous under VTU.
Both colleges have great placements.
Both are automatic choices for the top rank holders in CET and COMEDK. But

you will get good branch but go to counselling there 

therer you will come to know about colleges as it depends on your rank

You can sit in CS placements in any college only if you qualify there eligiblity criteria. For instance if you do your engineering in core branches but have done internships in Computer based programs and for instance you good coding experience. Then you can surely you sit in

So this is the dress code for girls inRV college of Engineering :

Round neck is not allowed but collar and v neck shorts are allowed ,also no sleeveless,no backless,no transperent,no 3/4th pants ,only full pants and no skirts.

Also there is a mechanical workshop uniform and labcoats

RVCE doesn't have uniform . It does have some dress codes like collor-less t shirts and shirts with provocative writings are not allowed.

This codes also depend on the department and it's faculty . Some are strict and some are not.

In RVCE, Bangalore, 45% seats are filled through KCET, 30% are filled through COMEDK and 25% are filled through Management Quota.
