Hope you are doing well!! See the above colleges that you have mentioned these are good colleges in private. And regarding your query there is little difference between electronics and telecommunication engineering and telecommunication engineering. The fact is in electronics you will deal with some circuits, digital analog, electrical etc but in telecommunication you will just study about signal analog and some little related to circuits as compared to electronics engineering and other cable system, satellite development etc. Hope these will help your purpose regarding any query feel free to ask in comment section.

Hope you are doing well. Sorry to inform you that you cannot get a seat in R.V.College of Engineering for Aerospace Engineering branch with this rank. RVCE is the top institution in Karnataka and if you want to enter into this institute, your rank should be less than 2000. Previous year, the cutoff for Aerospace Engineering in RVCE was 1087 for GM category. Even this year, it is expected to be the same. I hope you got the point after reading this answer.

With this rank you may get a ECE seat in BMS College Of Engineering, but sorry to inform you that you cannot get a seat in RVCE. Previous year, the cutoff for ECE in RVCE was 361 and in BMS College Of Engineering, it was 1195. Even this year it is expected to be the same without much changes. If you have to choose between NIT Trichy and RVCE, then you must go with NIT. NITs have a brand value which no other colleges have. Moreover, in NITs, many companies come so you will not find it difficult for placements. It is true that ECE has job opportunities but if your other option is NIT Trichy, then you must not confuse yourself and go with the NIT. This decision will turn out to be fruitful in the long run as you will enjoy the brand name of NIT.
If you are concerned with placements in Mechanical then the highest package for mechanical is 17lpa(India) and 44lpa(outside India) last year.

I think RV COLLEGE of Engineering, is better THAN IIIT raipur, rv college was founded in 1963 and IIIT in 2015
RV college has definitely strong alumni network, which will help you for sure in your college life, it has all necessary things like better infrastructure, no ragging, hostels and etc.
on comparing for placements every other college in India has same scenario, so it doesn't affect in long-term.

If you are not getting IITs ,IIITs or NITs then you must go RV with CSE stream.Here you also get exposure and placement opportunity.Placement scenario is quote good for CSE.And your rank is quite good,you deserve CSE or core stream.

With the choices given above between RVCE's Telecommunication engineering and JSS's (formely known as SJCE) Computer Science, I would like to strongly suggest you to go for JSS's computer science. JSS is one of the top engineering colleges in Karnataka which gives strong competition to RVCE in every aspect. JSS's computer science will provide you good placement opportunities and knowledge. The demand for CSE graduates has been high on rise and will continue to grow. As the stream graduates are in huge demand and JSS has been so far successful in completing the box to provide it, JSS's computer science is the choice to be choosen among the two mentioned.

With this much score in Comedk examination your chances of getting the RV College and Ms Ramaiah is high. You will easily get the mechanical engineering branch at both of these. I will suggest you to apply for other branches like EEE and ECE also as a backup option.

RVCW boasts modern infrastructure with well equipped classrooms, state of the art labs, spacious hostels and abundant green spaces. it provides a conductive evironment for academic and personal growth.
Go for RVCE if you care for placements.

College Infrastructure
When I graduated, the ECE building was falling apart. The library was understocked as well. I see they've made improvements recently so its better now. The Wifi was unreliable and the gym was subpar. The labs were well stocked though. The food used to be good in my first year but declined along the way.
Placements are exceptional but training could be functional

Infrastructure is great with advanced labs, smart classes, and good speed Wi-Fi. Library is among the best regarding offering great resources to students of technology. The hostels are comfortable, but private rooms near campus are also preferred
