SNM Institute of Management and Technology, Ernakulam Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college hostel is annexed with a kitchen, to provide food in a protected and hygienic environment along with dining halls, which can accommodate more than 100 students at a time. Healthy and nutritive food is served. The hostel kitchen has facilities for steam cooking with gas stoves. The menu for each day of the week is decided by the mess committee of the hostel. These are subjected to periodic reviews and altered to suit the requirements of the occupants. Special menus are prepared for religious occasions and festive days.

The college has a Women's hostel facility available near the college itself. It is close to the main road. The hostel has spacious rooms that can accommodate five to six students each. The rooms are well furnished. Proper study tables and chairs are provided in all rooms and corridors and absolute silence is maintained during study hours. The mess hall and kitchen are maintained under hygienic conditions with various types of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food available all days of the week. Food is available at a minimal cost and the dividing system is maintained.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college library is housed in a hall measuring more than 4000 sq. ft. A fully furnished reading room, lobby, storeroom, reference room, internet (broadband), digital library, etc. are the main attractions. The reading room can be used by 150 persons at a time. The library has a collection of 12,000 books and back volumes of journals. The library has subscriptions to diverse national and international journals catering to all branches of Engineering. It is fully automated and an online public access catalog is available to staff & students. Question papers, lecture notes, etc. of the preceding years are available for use.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. Wi-Fi Computer Labs.

The college has a spacious canteen at each of its campuses. At the canteen, dishing out menus is highly popular among students as well as staff. Students enjoy their food in a clean, well-maintained, aesthetic, and appetizing atmosphere. Most people fondly remember their college canteen as one of their life's high points. It is the place where they keep their creative juices flowing with discussions, chewing ideas, exchanging, and sharing strongly held opinions and eatables.

The College Alumni Association was formed on 2009 January 25 and was meant to foster the relationship between the alumni members and the college. The association works for an amelioration of the college and students. All the students who have completed their course can be members of the Association. From these members, office bearers are selected in the Annual General Body Meeting. Every year the Alumni Association is giving a memento for “Best Outgoing Student of the Year”.From 2015 onwards best performer among the alumni is selected as “Alumnus of the Year”. Cash prices and mementos are presented to the selected alumni.

The College Language Lab provides opportunities for students to enhance their skills in communication which is a prerequisite to developing their personality and getting placed in reputed firms. Thirty students can utilize the Language lab at a time. It also offers training for Group Discussion, Mock interviews, and Soft Skill Development of the students. It can fine-tune the student's ability to speak the English language.

The college provides a 24-hour Bank of India ATM facility for students and staff. Hostel students are able to use the ATM at any time within the campus premises. 

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
