SNIT Adoor Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

SNIT Adoor provides promising hostel facilities for the male students. There are two hostels with each accommodating undergraduate and postgraduate students. SNIT Adoor hostel provides a peaceful, safe, calm and hygienic environment to the students. 

SNIT Adoor also provides hostel facilities for girls. Similar to boys hostel, girls hostel also has two hostels each accommodating UG and PG students. The girls hostel also has well-maintained rooms, mess, cafeteria, and a gym. 

SNIT Adoor has a medical centre with trained nursing and doctor staff. It provides immediate first aid and basic healthcare facilities to the students and staff.

SNIT Adoor has modern and well-equipped gym facilities with modern equipment and a personal trainer. It provides the students with a chance to focus on their physical health and well-being.

The institute has a well-established library spanning over 1400 sq mt. Library consists of more than 35,000 books, journals, technical books, in both print and digital format. SNIT Adoor library has subscribed to more than 200 printed journals and technical magazines. The library has separate sections for all the genres such as fiction, science, business and management for easy access by the students.

The college also promotes sports facilities by regularly conducting various sports events. SNIT Adoor has both indoor and outdoor sports courts. Cricket, basketball, and football are popular amongst students.

The college has a Central Computing Facility (CCF). The lab has 63 nodes connected wired operating on a BSNL wired network connection at a speed of 4 Mbps.

The cafeteria is very popular amongst students. SNIT Cafeteria serves fresh and hygienically prepared food. Students and staff can buy snacks, and refreshments at an affordable price.

The college also has an auditorium to host seminars, workshops, and guest lectures. It hosts academic events to enhance the students’ learning experience. 

SNIT Adoor also offers transportation facilities to the students to and from the institute. It covers key pick-up points. It allows students to conveniently commute to avoid the hassle of taking  public transport. 

The campus also has a well-maintained swimming pool. Inter and intra college swimming competitions are regularly held throughout the year.

SNIT Adoor also has a convenience store located near the swimming pool. Students can buy stationery items from the convenience store. It sells genuine and authentic products along with a reprography facility. 

For staff and students’ family members, the institute also provides guest/waiting rooms. It offers a comfortable environment for the family members.
