SNIT Adoor Facilities

The Sree Narayana Institute of Technology offers a wide range of facilities to ensure a comprehensive learning environment for its students. SNIT Adoor facilities include hostel facilities, library, sports, transport, cafeteria, computer centre, labs, and many more facilities. One of the features is the provision of separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, ensuring a comfortable and secure stay for its resident students.

The campus has a canteen that serves the students with a variety of snacks and desserts. To keep up with the technological advancements, SNIT Adoor has well-equipped computer labs that provide hands-on experience to the students. In addition to these, SNIT Adoor boasts a well-stocked library that serves as a knowledge resource for students. The institute also provides other facilities like transport, high-speed Wi-Fi Internet, and a gym.

Boys Hostel
The College provides hostel facilities for boys students within the campus itself. The hostel facility is provided to P.G and U.G students of the college. we have two hostels each that can accommodate both P.G and U.G students. Faculty members residing in the hostel support the wardens. Our hostels provide a disciplined, safe, calm, hygienic, and peaceful atmosphere for students for their studies as well as personal growth. the college has facilities for the mess, chapel, study hall, gymnasium, etc. and we are a full-fledged Wi-Fi campus.
Girls Hostel
The College provides hostel facilities for girl students within the campus itself. The hostel facility is provided to P.G and U.G students of the college. we have two hostels each that can accommodate both P.G and U.G students. Medical/Hospital
The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
Gym
The college has a modern and well-equipped gymnasium with the latest health types of equipment made available to students and staff of the campus.
Library
The College has built a spacious Central Library spanning a total floor area of 1400 sq mt. Combining aesthetics with utility, the modern Library houses more than 35,000 documents consisting of Technical Books, Full-Text E-Resources, Bibliographic Databases, Journals both print, and online, Digital resources reports, Theses, standards, and back volumes of journals. The library subscribes to more than 200 printed journals and technical magazines. We have a separate collection of books such as Book Bank, Career & Personality Development, Fiction, etc. Besides the Central library, there are 8 department libraries, each with more than 1000 documents. Library follows the open access system The Library also subscribes to E-Journals. The Library comes with provisions for modern facilities including Library Automation, Research Scholars Cubicle, a Tutorial Room, IEEE Branch Library, Multi-Media Center, Stack Section, Reference Section, and Circulation Section with advanced computers and other peripherals connected in LAN. The Digital Library is housed on the first floor and has the capacity to accommodate 40 users. More than 15000 International Journals, e-books, and standards in different areas subscribed through different consortiums like IEEE POP, ELSEVIER, SPRINGER, Access Engineering Library (McGraw Hill), ASTM Digital Library, ASCE, ASME, J-GATE, ISO, JTC1, DELNET Membership, and NPTEL facility.
Sports
The college has Physical education programs that are needed to increase physical competence, health-related fitness, self-responsibility, and enjoyment of physical activity for all students so that they can be physically active for a lifetime. Physical education programs can only provide these benefits if they are well-planned and well-implemented. The college has both indoor and outdoor game facilities for the physical fitness of the students.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has a Central Computing Facility (CCF) with an important component of the Institute’s Infrastructure. The Lab has 63 nodes connected wired operating on a BSNL wired network connection at speed of 4Mbps.
Cafeteria
The college canteen is one of the biggest and liveliest places in college. There is enough space for all the students to sit and enjoy their time there.
Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
Transport Facility
The college has a transport facility for both students and staff from Thamarakkulam, Podiyadi, Anchal, Chavara, Karunagappally, and Chengannur.
Wifi
The college has Full-fledged wifi for students and staff.
Swimming Pool
The college has a swimming pool facility for students.
Laboratories
The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.
Convenience Store
The college has a Book Store that functions near the swimming pool. Students are expected to buy books and stationery items from the college book store which sells only authorized and genuine items. The reprography facility is available at the College Book Store and in the library on a payment basis.
Guest Room/Waiting Room
The college has a guest house/waiting room facility for visiting faculty and student family members.
Alumni Associations
The college has good networking for the alumni association.
Training and Placement Cell
The college has motive for the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange a campus visit and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.

The College has Different types of a Club Facility for the Students to join.

The College organize workshops and Seminars to improve the ability of students.
