The required eligibility for appearing in the Symbiosis law test for admission is 45%marks in 12th. After passing through test students have to appear in PI-WAT personal interview- written ability test and PI-SI .The cutoff marks for level 2 stage PI-WAT for SLS , Pune is 108 for BA LLB and 97 for BBA LLB , and for SLS,Noida 98 for BA LLB and 91 for BBA LLB. The section of General Knowledge in any competitive exam is the most important and challenging section. The SLAt is the entrance exam held for admissions into the B.A. LLB and BBA LLB programmes offered by Symbiosis University. The SLAT GK has 30 questions out of 150 questions. It is a mix of Static GK as well as Current Affairs. General Knowledge is a section which is very unpredictable and its pattern can change year by year. Therefore, it cannot be assumed that only six months of GK is important than the whole year. It is advisable to go through the current affairs of the whole year as this section constitutes 20% weightage in the exam. The best way to prepare Current Affairs is to read newspapers like The Hindu, The Indian Express, Tims of India, etc daily. One can also go through the monthly or yearly magazines like Chronicle, Pratiyogita Darpan, Competition Success Review, etc on current affairs to get the news in an organized an more structured way.
