Dear Aspirant,
I understand your concern and I will help you further !
The two colleges which you have mentioned are three tier colleges and are doing good for the past many years and the reputation is also high. The only thing is, the placements in UIET are only good for branches such as CSE, IT, etc.., and the remaining aren't that good. And, the Mechanical is famous in YMCA and the other branches too. You visit tge Colleges and choose the best one according to your needs and expectations. Both the colleges are almost the same and it now also depends on where you reside and how much you can afford get admission.

Hello,
Bharti Vidyapeeth deemed University Pune is doing great, very well designed syllabus and decent faculties, faculty student ratio is better than UIET CHANDIGARH, without any second thought join Bharti Vidyapeeth deemed University Pune.
Thanku
Hey Amandeep! The ultimate aim of a student when he is studying so hard for 4 years is to get placed and placement records of University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Maharshi Dayanand University - [UIET], Rohtak is not good if we compare with Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology - [GTBIT], New Delhi. So according to me you should go for GTBIT as it has good placement records and faculty. Hope this may help you.
Hello Sukrati,
If you are alloted with an institute in earlier rounds and completed the document verification and admission part with fee deposition and procured another seat of a different college or institute in the subsequent rounds then it do not worry and get the load off you.
You are all set to go to newer college without much problems. You need to report to the newer institution for admission procedure and fee will be automatically adjusted accordingly and there is not much that you need to do for that.
Hope it helped you.. :)
This college come under Panjab University. PU has two campuses and UIET came under south campus. The infra of UIET is just okay okay. This is the decent college if you are not getting any nit or GFTI. You can choose this college instead of taking admission in any state engineering colleges. The infra of the college is average, there is projectors in classrooms, the faculty is top notch from iits and other big institutes. The spaes are clean and there is hygienic food. I you want to enjoy the campus life this will be best option.
It left much to be desired as machines were old. The machines were around twenty years older when I was studying, many weren't even working. It troubled us a lot as many of us weren't able to do our experiments.
Infra of our college is okaish. Everything one may need is present in the college or univerisity campus. Lecture halls are good only for the CS and IT department. All the facilities are present in the university campus in sector 14, but hostels aren't that great and availability of hostels is a major issue for boys. More than half of the students have to live outside of the campus in pgs and apartments.
