The faculty and the placements are excellent. Placements: VEC is a reputed college in Chennai, regarding placement. This college is the best because you just need to clear arrears. Then the college will assure you a job with their training and placement. Almost, in my batch, only three eligible students are unplaced. If you have arrears, also VEC gives you an opportunity to be in the process of placement. In 1st and 2nd years, they give stress towards the academics, and in 3rd and final year, they provide both academics and placement training. Reputed companies like Amazon, Zoho, Himachal Pradesh visit the campus and offers a package up to 12 LPA. IT sector companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro gives package from 3 LPA to 6 LPA. IT sector jobs are guaranteed. Infrastructure: VEC has a decent infrastructure, which is not great to talk about. Honestly, VEC doesn't excel in their infrastructure. But the infrastructure is nothing bad to say. The infrastructure is decent and not of grand look with all the lab facilities. The classroom and labs excel with decent space for it. Hostel rooms are par, and hostel food is a disaster, as my hostel friends told. The canteen is decent, providing food at cheaper rates. Faculty: VEC faculty are skilled and kind-hearted. The faculty treats the students as their child. And college also provides some additional class for the arrear students. The course curriculum excels in VEC because they teach you with a real-time example. VEC will surely increase your percentage according to the industry skills.
