Yes my college have very good infrastructure we have very good library for knowledge sharing purpose and also we have projectors for every classroom for better understanding of the concept and we have canteen which are very hygienic.
I am studying in MBA because I see a bright future for myself in this particular career the quality of teaching is really good teacher ask what you when it comes to study circulum is update regularly.
Placement quality is also good and placement of students placed every year 62 70% with good salary packages between 3 to 5 lakh annually placement process are moderate as the different stages according to the eligibility of student
My total course fees for four year is 370300 examination fees is 1200 per semester which is included in the course fee fee for academic or include in the course with hostel fee 27000 per semester
College campus is really nice events happens time to time different club are also there with the best supporting staff there also a 24 /7 emergency service centres are also very Cooperative they help any time we need them
Amazing infrastructure have Wi-Fi Smart Watch Two floors library helping staff and all the stuff it strict in term of uniform but ok if manage to do so you but I have 4to 5 canteen campus. And everything is ok
Pretty much in acadamics faculties is very nice and the campus atmosphere is good any problem will be stored it will take time to adjust with your new subject and the pattern but you will get through very easily
Placement are very good I think let's see incoming your as well we are prepared truly for the interview and the group discussion so at the particular time not much pressure is created and student are in it
Maybe can say that I have not compare Such
It is very happening and amazing we have make club and association and Society have to enhance our skills
Really the best infrastructure you can get. Free Wi-Fi also available. You can actually get the best facilities here. It's a wide spread college of 164 acres, with greenery spread all around. Library is great, food is nice, but there are no smart boards is each class
Academics is pretty good. But, they make us study outdated syllabus. In first year, everyone has same syllabus. So, irrespective of your branch you have to study a little bit course of each branch. Like Computer science student also has to study mechanical engineering.
Placement is really good but one must have good skills, otherwise no matter whatsoever your college is you will not get placed. Many of the people are still left after the placements are over. So, be skilled, your skills will get you job.
It's a government college and still, they are charging a large amount of money. Course charge is about 200K per year. Which is too much, and it will sum up to 8 lakhs for 4 years. So, really really costly course.
Campus life in DTU is the best thing that ever happened to me. Really nice crowd. However, situated in Bawana, so not so safe place, but inside the campus it's safe outside it's a bit dangerous. Engifest is the best fest in North india, overall, it's great.
Great college. One will never regret being here. Good placement. Best opportunities to discover yourself. Founder of paytm and sushant singh rajput also passed out from here. So many societies to truly discover who you are. Best place.
Our campus is spreaded in about 164 acres covered with nature beauty such as trees , grass and peacocks presence make it adorable. We have a huge library and sports complex in which we have ground for cricket, football, tennis court and badminton court. Also we have Indore game facilities, gym a central canteen and Nescafe which makes it special. All the department and other living places are clean . All the department and hostels are equipped with LAN and WiFi but few have ACs .
All the teachers are well qualified as they did PhD from reputated institutes. Their teaching methods are appreciable. Our curriculum is lengthy thus needs to be updated so that we can meet the current scenario. All labs and workshops are well equipped so that we can get good practical insights and become industrial ready.
Every student of my department got placed with average package of around 15 LPA and highest package of 1.08 crore per annum of CTC. For whole college , placement is 80% with average package of 10 LPA . We have big recruiters like Google Amazon etc . Other recruiters are Samsung , delloite , etc
I pay around 1 lac per annum which is less than private colleges charging for such good facilities. But though being a government owned institute, it is more when compared to various NITs and IITs offering such or more than this with their tags
Such a big campus with evergreen environment along with big library, well equipped labs & workshop, sports facilities touch the every corner for having a good college experience. Also we have various fests with thousands of footfalls around Delhi makes it special in which we learn cooperative skills from our seniors. Also seniors and faculties members guide us throughout our college journey so that we can have a great future ahead.
A very good infrastructure is there as DTU has a very big campus and have all required buildings. It have separate blocks for each department and good furnished classrooms. A very huge sports complex is present there in which almost all type of sports are there.
Academics in Delhi Technological University is pretty good and many faculty members are highly qualified. In college life there are so many things which have to do our own. Alltype of courses like B.Tech, M.tech , MBA can be done here.
Delhi Technological University have a very good Placement records as per my knowledge and data DTU have an average package of about 12 LPA and an Average package of 16 LPA for computer based branches like COE ,IT ,SE.
Although DTU is a government college but still it have a medium amount of fee which is greater than many private colleges as well but due to its environment and placement it has worth to money. About 1.8 lakhs per year is college fee of DTU.
As it has a great huge and good campus so it feels pretty good to live here. I am a hostetler and i live there for all 24 hrs and it feels so good and proud to be in such a college which is reputed so much.
DTU has a ranking of 4 or 5 according to times of india survey 2019.
85% Seat Allocation for Delhi Candidates : DTU reserves 85% of its seats across programs, including B.Tech, BBA, and MBA, for candidates who have completed their qualifying education—such as Class 12 for undergraduate courses or a Bachelor’s degree for MBA—from a recognized institution located in Delhi. Given that your schooling is from Delhi, you fulfill this criterion and are eligible for the Delhi quota. This reservation policy prioritizes you over out-of-state candidates, who compete for the remaining 15% of seats, thereby enhancing your chances of securing admission.
Validity of Caste Certificate from Haryana : Your caste certificate from Haryana is valid for claiming reservation benefits at DTU, provided it is issued by a competent authority and adheres to the Government of India’s guidelines for categories such as OBC-NCL, SC, or ST. DTU, as a state university, accepts caste certificates from other states for reservation purposes, so your certificate should not pose any issue, assuming it aligns with the category you’ve applied under. For instance, if applying under OBC-NCL, the certificate must be recent (typically issued within the last year) and reflect your status on the Central OBC list. The 85% Delhi quota is determined solely by your schooling location, not the state of issuance of your caste certificate, so this aspect does not impact your eligibility for the quota.
MBA-Specific Eligibility at DTU : If you are applying for DTU’s MBA program, the eligibility criteria include a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates). Admission typically requires a valid CAT score, followed by a counseling process or an interview. As a Delhi candidate, you fall under the 85% quota, and your caste certificate can be utilized to avail reservation benefits, potentially easing cutoff requirements or prioritizing your seat allocation.
Hello Aspirant,
If you are okay with any BTech branch and are open to a lot of other areas, then any branch at DTU is generally better than CSE at JSS. DTU (Delhi Technological University) has a good reputation, better campus, alumni network, and placement packages across branches, as well as internships and projects. Even if you don't get CSE at DTU, ECE, IT at DTU, or even mechanical can be good, and you would learn coding for example, or otherwise ease into this area through self-study coding platforms and internships.
If you are fully aware that you only want to do Computer Science and have a deep passion for programming from the start, then CSE at JSS can also be a decent option. However, overall DTU offers a better platform for your long-term career development and flexibility.
No, Delhi Technological University (DTU) does not use CUET for admissions to its B.Tech programs. DTU primarily relies on the JEE Main scores for B.Tech admissions, with the Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) Delhi handling the process. CUET is used for admissions to other UG programs offered by DTU, such as BBA, BA (Hons.) Economics, and B.Des.
Elaboration:
B.Tech Admissions:
DTU's B.Tech admissions are based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
JAC Delhi:
The Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) Delhi handles the counselling and seat allocation process for B.Tech programs at DTU, along with other participating institutions like Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology-Delhi (IIIT-D), and Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW).
CUET for Other Programs:
While JEE Main is the primary entrance for B.Tech, CUET is used for admission to other UG programs like BBA, BA (Hons.) Economics, and B.Des at DTU.
