IIM Sirmaur Ph.D Courses & Fees 2024

Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur has released the fee structure for both M.B.A and M.B.A (Tourism & Hospitality Management) programmes for the batch of 2023 to 2025. Both M.B.A and M.B.A (Tourism & Hospitality Management) are two-year full-time residential programmes. IIM Sirmaur takes into account the IIM Sirmaur admission criteria 2023 for providing admissions to candidates in MBA programmes.

As per the IIM Sirmaur admission criteria, candidates will be required to qualify CAT entrance exam. Candidates selected in the final merit list for the academic year 2023-2025 will have to deposit the IIM Sirmaur fees. The expected fee structure of IIM Sirmaur is Rs 1.65 lakhs for two years. IIM Sirmaur fees include tuition fees, medical insurance charges, students’ association fees, alumni activity and related components. IIM Sirmaur commenced its first batch in 2015 under the mentorship of IIM Lucknow.

As per the latest update, the tuition fees of IIM Sirmaur for batch 2023-2025 shall be Rs. 13.65 lakhs for two years for both MBA and MBA (Tourism & Hospitality Management). Apart from the tuition fees, IIM Sirmaur also mandates shortlisted candidates to pay Rs. 1,00,000 in each term (up to the fourth term) for the International Immersion programme. However, the cost of the fee charged for the immersion programme activity will be adjusted against the term fees in case the Immersion programme is not conducted.

• The tuition fees for IIM Sirmaur shall be Rs 13.65 lakhs for two years. In addition, the student has to pay Rs. 1,00,000 in each term (up to the fourth term) for the International Immersion Programme and in the event the Immersion programme is not conducted, the cost of the fee charged for the immersion programme activity shall be adjusted against the term fee. The exact amount and details of the breakup will be given in the admission offer.

• While confirming the admission, the amount is Rs 50,000. This amount will be adjusted against the payment of tuition fees in the future. If the person does not join the institute, only Rs 1000 will be retained as per GOI guidelines. Details of the exact amount and mode of payment will be sent with the offer of admission.

Offer Acceptance

As per the admission criteria of IIM Sirmaur, a candidate receiving a final admission offer from IIM Sirmaur will be required to deposit an offer acceptance amount of Rs. 50,000 through an online transaction for reserving the candidature. This amount will be adjusted by IIM Sirmaur in the term fees. If due to any reason, the candidate is not able to join IIM Sirmaur then only Rs. 1000 will be retained as per GOI guidelines.

IIM Sirmaur Seat Intake

Once the admission process of the 2023 batch starts, IIM Sirmaur will declare the number of seats offered. However, based on the previous year's seat matrix of IIM Sirmaur, the seat intake of IIM Sirmaur is likely to be above 90. Out of which M.B.A (Tourism & Hospitality Management) will have around 30 seats. However, IIM Sirmaur reserves the right to increase or decrease the seat intake as per its requirements.

Since IIM Sirmaur is considered as a Baby IIM. IIM Sirmaur courses offer only two postgraduate programmes and Ph.D programme to the students.
