Residing on the banks of Yamuna river of Paonta Sahib, IIM Sirmaur has good infrastructure with an academic block, a medical room, sports ground, canteen, transport, hostels, computer labs, a library equipped with a Bloomberg terminal, and many more.

Case studies are derived from Harvard Business School, which is known for its business study material and simulations. IIM Lucknow, as the parenting institute, is one of the strong points about how good the academics are.

The placement drive is good, and companies are coming from diverse domains, including banking, marketing, finance, operations, strategy, and consulting, offering good summer internships and final placements are good landing students into their dream companies.

Being an institute of national importance, deriving its study materials from the world's number one business school, and competing with other management institutes for its excellence in every possible way, it is a value-for-money course. Strong alumni connections, great director, good faculty, and other aspects set apart IIM-Sirmaur from other B-Schools.

good campus life with all types of events happening, including sports, cultural and festival events, case competitions, late-night studies, industrial tours and visits, and the list goes on.

The infrastructural facilities does not meet the IIM standards and it is of utmost importance for a prestigious institution like this to improve their infrastructural facilities so that it feels like value for money

The teaching hours are too much like 1.5 hrs per class which is a challenge in itself as for an average human it's difficult to concentrate for that long. Moreover there's only 15 min break in between which is sometimes consumed by the professor. So overall it becomes too difficult to concentrate all the time.

The placement committee is trying their best to bring in companies but the market situation currently down and moreover the infrastructure inhibits companies to come to this campus. The recruiters look at this while recruiting.

The cost for MBA for 2023-25 is 16l and 144000rs is mess fees which as compared to the services received is overrated. Although it's a baby iim but they have increased the fees drastically as compared to previous year and we are not even provided with that level if facilities.

Due to adminstration restrictions the campus life is becoming too dominating. The iim culture is being controlled by admin too much that the student council is being devoid of its power . The party' culture is being restricted.

we are currently staying in temporary campus , but apart from that everything else is worthy staying here with mountains pleasant view. And the hygiene is utmost valued here at hostel and mess. the hostel rooms are well maintained and cleaned everyday.

the academic rigor is very high. every professor is a home for knowledge, they teach us accordingly which is needed for facing the current industry and market. the schedule is fully packed with numerous events, guest lectures , common activities, quizzes and what not. the quality of teaching is excellent and they make students involve into the subject so much. every session is a pack of knowledge. every session teaches us how to face the real market strategically.

the placement committee works so hard and brings numerous opportunities to the students belonging to different specializations. the placement committee makes sure to make 100% placements with good packages, which is appreciable. the highest package offered previously was 64.12LPA and average CTC of 14.45LPA is very reasonable amount.

the campus life has a lot to explore depending on ones interest , sports like football, cricket leagues take place and music concerts, and space for all types of arts where everyone is welcomed to show there talent. here they celebrate all the festivals which are celebrated all over the country gives you different exposure to different cultures.

Infrastructure is not good and facilities are not made properly available. Equipment and infrastructure are not well-maintained and properly taken care of. Library don't have enough seats for accommodating all the students.

Curriculum is not regularly updated but faculty and staff tries to provide as much knowledge as they can to students. I am studying MBA here and quality of teaching is nice here. Teachers are also good.

Placements are not very good here. Average package here is 13-14 lakhs per annum which is low according to me. Highest salary package offered is 25-30 lakhs per annum. Placement process is easy and smooth.

My College have necessary infrastructure, equipment, laboratories and facilities required for study purposes. The equipment are well maintained and in good condition. Food is so-so here but they are working upon it.

Teachers here are student friendly and always available to solve the doubts and problems faced by students, fostering better connections and openness with them. Culture diversity and inclusivity among both students and teachers can also be seen.

Placement opportunities here are average but not very good. Average package here is around 16-18 Lakhs Per Annum/year. Placement process is smooth and has been made convenient for students. Also, big companies and opportunities are also there for placements.

My course costs around 10 lakhs per year, and seeing the average placement package here being 16-18 Lakhs Per Annum/Year makes it fine for value-for-money.

Infrastructure is not so good because it is the temporary campus. Expectations from Permanent campus is high. Hope so we will get shifted in the second year of our program. Living space in temporary campus is not so good there are hygiene problem but in permanent campus there will be not any such issue. Hostels are well equipped by wifi and library is good. It is open 24*7 and sports are also good but there are less facilities for sports . Classrooms are good and equipped with latest technology.

Academic are good but as every activity is seen after and managed by the students so there are some issues and delays in things. But teachers are very supportive and experienced. Many opportunities are provided by the teachers

Placements are average but as because it is baby IIM so don't expect much about placement if you are coming by the hope camparing any old IIM and New IIM then this not the right fit. Don't depend on college fully for placements.

The college has all the necessary infrastructure and equipment along with latest technology. The wifi connectivity is good across the campus which is laudable even when the college is situated in a small town like Paonta Sahib. Hostels are big enough to stay comfortably with all the basic necessity items like clean washrooms,mess, gym etc.

Academics here at IIM Sirmaur is wonderful as teachers are very well experienced, they allow students to work in their own style while guiding them through the course curriculum. Opportunities provided by the institution are in abundance and one can easily excel in life through these opportunities.

Though the placements of this institution is not at par with other IIMs but one needs to consider that this is a new generation IIM and it is slowly gaining pace. Apart from this, highest package for batch'23 was around 64 LPA for core MBA. And the average package was around 14 LPA.

Yes the college curriculum and the opportunities it provides is definitely value for money. The total fee for this institution's mba is around 17 LPA which is less when compared to other IIMs. And honestly speaking, I personally do feel that my money is getting used properly and this is worth the money.

Though the college doesn't have it permanent campus as of now, but the temporary campus is also very good as it is very beautiful, calm and surrounded by mountains. Apart from this, since students are from very diverse culture and background, it makes the campus life even more enriching and fun.

Academic Buildings: The institute would have dedicated academic buildings with classrooms equipped with modern teaching aids and technology to facilitate the learning process. This institute has a good building infrastructure.

Good college to consider

My college is currently working on temporary campus so there are some problems but they provide all the facilities like library, wifi and AC classes. projectors in every class and canteen available and clean hostels.

Im studying MBA and teaching is top notch. They have excellent faculties all are phd and the course is up to date. The curriculum is rigorous and they prepare you for job ready and provide all the content and resources required.

Quality of placements is good they bring great companies for internship and final placements and everyone is placed. The avg salary is 13+lac and median is also around same. They regularly help students to get best placements they can.

The college runs from a temporary campus,but all the facilities are at par with IIM standards. The classrooms are very modernized with Smart boards and AC's .The mess and hostels are also very good and well maintained.

The college has MBA, MBA Tourism and PhD programs currently. All the programs are very good. The professors and very good and help out students in every way possible. The MBA program has very Industy driven curriculum.

The placements are very good and the figures shown on the website are 100% true. Many big names come on campus for final placements. For summer internships almost 50+ companies come on campus. The college offers 100% placements.
