For getting admission for B.arch in IIT kharagpur one must follow these steps.

1.) Candidate must appear for JEE examination which includes JEE mains and JEE advanced. One must qualify both the exams with good marks.

2.) Then candidate must appear for architecture aptitude test (AAT) in order to study architecture in IIT.

It depends on the number of vacant seat available in IIT, Kharagpur after round 1 seat allotment. You have not mentioned your category and GATE score without that it is difficult to predict the chances of getting seat in Thermal Engineering in IIT, Kharagpur. In 2019 the cut off for general category was 854, OBC:794, SC: 679, ST:566, PwD: 588. If you have score above the given cut off in 2019 you may have decent chances of getting seat in IIT-K in Thermal Engineering but it is subjected to seat availability, category and your GATE score. I assume you are asking about jee advance score and possibilities of rank to get admission in iit kharagpur, see cutoff score and closing rank differs year to year and depends on certain factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, etc. now as far previous years records your rank should be under 2000 if you are from general category, for computer science like demanding branch closing rank is around 400.

Placements from M.Tech in Industrial and Management Engineering have been mediocre in past records. Mostly students, pursue further studies like Post doctoral or MBA, and some opt for Non-core job, while there are placements happening in the core field. Selection criteria and eligibility criteria will vary with respect to college. You have to search for jobs in career section of different official college webpages.
If you find any option suitable then you can apply for it.
It is your work to search for them and apply for them. You have good qualifications so it would be better if you try for NIT campus or top universities.
There are many options as colleges are high in number. You have to search it.

Eligibility - candidates must candidates must candidates must passed or appearing class 12 with physics chemistry and mathematics from a recognized board.

Indian Institute of Technology(IIT),Bombay, and Indian Institute of Technology(IIT),kharagpur both are good but I recommend IIT bombay because it is better posion than IIT Kharagpur.Here you didnot mention the branch to compare with both the colleges.But both the colleges are equally good.

Dear aspirant,

There is no pattern in any IIT for setting the paper of JEE advanced. Professor there are given some topics and some some subject to come up with their questions within the syllabus of IIT JEE after that the committee select the question and craft the paper.

It is believed that IIT Guwahati sets a tough paper but that is not the case every time it's just an assumption but not with enough proof. I suggest if you are preparing for advanced get your hands on some good material and practice daily for 4 to 6 hours for one year to get a good rank.

All the IITS ARE good for msc course and it depends on the subject you want to do msc in, but overall iit kharagpur, iit kanpur and iit roorkee are the best among the all but still if you can tell me the subject I can tell you better.
