IIT Kharagpur All Questions

It is  quite good , in the year 2017  12 out of 19 students got placed for mtech in power system . But the companies like Qualcomm  ,Texas , Tata , Siemens  visited the campus and also offered package of around 16 lakhs per annum , Tata offered around 10 lakhs and Siemens offered around 6 to 8 lakhs . But there is major advantage for IIT as the tagline is enough to get you a job in a good company . 

See if you are probably preparing for it then go for some coaching institutes. Its a must because short tricks and tips could be taught nowhere other than that. So just go and get yourself admissioned into one such good institute. Solve previous years question and take good reference booms and study hard. You'll definitely succeed.

No,you have not mistaken by choosing IIT Guwahati EEE branch ahead of Instrumentation as EEE also have better scope in future.You can also aware of the fact that IIT Guwahati has also good nirf ranking and overall both are of nearly same level .At last your hard work matters as you are interested in EEE then you will perform better in it.As taking branch of no interest have no value.

Doing multimedia information processing from iit Kharagpur would be great and you can easily get job in this field.

This course has very good placements and you can get very good packages.

But you should only do it if you are having interest in it as you are currently working .

So doing MTech from iit Kharagpur,you need focus only in this and you cannot work.

Congrats on your GATE rank. There are many factors that are taken into account for admission through gate in IIT colleges. Your gate marks out of 1000 and 100, your category and your 12th percentage. You should also choose the degree you wish to join.

In such a case if branch is not a matter of concern for you then I would suggets you to opt for telecommunications in IIT Kharagpur instead of going for VLSI in NIT Calicut as IIT Kharagpur is a really good ranked college overall and have good ratings in mostly all respects than NIT Calicut. But if VLSI attracts you more, then there is nothing bad for you if you want to opt NIT Calicut. 

So it really depends on you that what YOU really want and decide for one and go for it blindly as both options are really worthy and great choices for you to opt. Hope it helped.

According to me, you should wait for further rounds. Because you don't loose anything by waiting but surely can gain a lot. Both the college are great in their own way and congratulations to you to achieve this goal. You will surely get admission in any good college, so wait and see what happens.
