Hello student you can calculate and get your rank easily by using this formula (100-your total percentile) 869010 /100.
In your case your rank must be around 17,000

With 17000 rank its bit difficult to get into IIIT as per past year records being not a home state student. A student get admission in electronic and communication with around 12000 rank.

But you can get a seat i DTU or NSIT or IP University.

Also if you want to appear in jee main April the application form shall begin from 07th of February and shall remain open till 07th of March.

Hello,

iiitD and iiitB are both top most colleges in the field. But if we look at an in depth analysis then here are the points:

1. Infrastructure: iiiTD being a new campus as compared to iiiTB has a better infrastructure as per the students experience.

2. Courses and Curriculum: iiiTB is said to ahead of iiiTD when it comes to post graduate courses. But other than that , iiiTD is better than iiiTB.  The faculties of iiiTD are renowned and are considered to be the best in their field.

3. Placements: iiiTD has better opportunities/placements packages as compared to iiiTB. Students have also got international internships in iiiTD. Both iiiTD and iiiTB have their own incubation centre to promote start-ups (so if you have an idea in mind you can pitch it and get funding). Looking from future opportunities perspective, both Bangalore and Delhi has enormous amount of opportunities as both of the cities are vibrant, sound and have headquarters of many big corporates.

4. iiiTD is a full fledged government funding institute which has its own advantage as compared to iiiTB.

5. Also, iiiTD is a recent institute as compared to iiiTB so it becomes bit easy to get admission in it as students prefer a older institute over a newer one.

6. Activities/fests/seminars/events are more in iiiTD as compared to iiiTB. You can also participate in hackathons etc.

Hi Bankuru,

According to the formula (100 - your total score) X 869010 /100 your expected rank is coming out to be AIR 14608 and it will vary as the number of students writing the April attempt are expected to increase.

2018 Cutoff for IIIT Delhi, CSE branch for OBC category was AIR 57512.

Now, you have got much more higher rank than this so congrats, you will surely get a seat in IIIT Delhi CSE Branch.

Hi,

Hope your are doing great!

As per your percentile your ranking will be as follows:

100-(percentile obtained)×no. Of students appeared ÷100=

100-98.319×869010÷100=

14608.

It's difficult to get seat in both of these NITs as their cutoff is high comparative to other NITs .

For a clear picture ,click on the link provided below to know more about cutoff https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-top-btech-branches/amp

Hi there,

From research, for getting in IIT Delhi, you have to get atleat the percentage of 85% and above in OBC category and rank should be inside one lakh in the JEE results.

You can calculate your rank using 100 - your total NTA score × 869010/100 and if the number of candidates are increasing then 100 - total NTA cost × 12,00000/100.

Hope thia will help you.

Thank you

You can calculate your rank in JEE Main Paper 1 using the formula:

Rank = (100-percentile)*(No. of students appeared for the examination)/100

As the no. of students appeared for Paper 1 (Jan) are around 869000, your rank will be around 199000. However as the no. of students in April changes, your rank will change according to that.

With this rank, there are very less chances of admission into IIIT-D. You can visit the official website to check the last years' cutoffs or may use the following link:

To Calculate the rank for B. Tech:
So Rank Formula is (100 - your total score) X 1200000/100.

Feel free to ask if you have any more queries

Hello aspirant,

You can calculate your rank using the below formula-
100 - your total percentile score is the percentage  of people ahead of you. 869010 are the number of candidates appeared for Jan exam. So rank formula is (100 - your total score) X 869010 /100.

Based on your percentile score your rank will be around 53,000.
You have a chance of getting a seat in NSIT.

Hope this helped you.

Hello Dear You scored well in the paper.
Its difficult to predict actual rank or JEE advanced qualify marks. you may calculate your expected rank by this formula

100 - your total percentile score is the percentage of people ahead of you. 869010 are the number of candidates appeared for Jan exam. So rank formula is (100 - your total score) X 869010 /100. If the number of candidates for April exam increased to 1200000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 1200000/100

Its difficult to tell exact qualifying marks for jee advanced eligibility but if you are getting more than 85 percentile score then you have decent chances to qualify for jee advanced
You can have a look to college predictor , it will be helpful to you in finding your college.

Wish for your bright future.https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor

Hey,

According to your score, you can expect your rank to be around 2,52,012. You can calculate your rank using the formula:
(100- your percentile)869010/100.

Here, 869010 is the number of students who appeared in January session. If the number of candidates change in April session, then the rank will also change.
With this rank, it is quite difficult to get admission in IIIT Delhi or IIIT Allahabad. Though, you might get admission in IIIT Delhi. We don't have category specific rank yet, but category also plays an important role in determining admission.

IIIT Delhi 2019 cutoff was around 3 lacs for home state Candidates, but for other states it was around 4000-5,000.

Kindly use our College predictor to see your possibilities:
