Amity University | M.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
Hi,
Yes, the 75% eligibility criteria has been removed starting from 2022. So you just need to pass your boards in order to be eligible. But about the admission to IIITD it depends on many other criteria such as -
a) your rank in JEE Main and JEE Advanced.
b) JEE Main examination difficulty level, etc.
So, give your best.
Good luck.
See, it all boils down to what category you have. If you belong to PwD category, then definitely you can easily get a seat in Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi or IIIT Delhi. If you belong to SC or ST category, then you chances might reduce a little, and it you are an OBC or general candidate, then you won't be getting in.
In general, if you want to take some government colleges with 75.7 percentile in JEE Main, you can get some North Eastern NITs (for reserved and home state quota) like:
NIT Mizoram
NIT Nagaland
NIT Meghalaya
NIT Arunachal Pradesh

Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
Hey student.
As you have mentioned your percentile in Jee mains paper 1 in session 1st is 51.61 . So, following this, you can expect that your rank might be nearly ~3.5 - 4 Lakhs which is not a good rank to get into IIIT Delhi.
Other eligibility criteria for IIITD is that you must have secured 70% or above score in your 12th boards. In fact your rank count is already in lakhs and at this rank it is very difficult to get into any government college in India as well as any good private college too.
Only thing I can say is that you should prepare better for your next session and secure a good percentile so that you can only get a good government college. Set your target for a good score and prepare accordingly.
You can also use our college predictor link to know better about which college you can get at what percentile.
Hope this helps :)
Hi,
As you haven't mentioned your category so let's say you belong to general category.
Cutoff depends on student's performance and the level of question paper. Last year the cutoff rank for general category in IIIT Delhi was 4912.
As per the trend you need to score 171 - 180 to be eligible for admission in IIIT Delhi.
There is a slight chance of you to get seat in IIIT Delhi but remember competition is cutthroat now a days so, cutoff can be high from previous years.
All the best !

Hi there! In response to your query it would highly depend on the percentile you obtain in the examination. This score could be an intermediate or a high score depending on how well prepared other candidates might be, hence you should try to aim a certain percentile to be assured of your selected field of study in the above institutions.
Hope this answer helps; best wishes
As you have mentioned that you want to know what is fees structure for the sc students. The fee structure not including provision me tell you that the total fees for iiit delhi in course of 4 years is 14L including your hostel fees
there is fees waiver provision for SC-ST student. In some IIITs , it is like 75% tution fees waiver while in other it is 50% Tution fees waiver
Hope this will help you
Hello Aspirant,
No you will not be considered under OBC-NCL reservation category for admission to either NSUT/IIIT-D/DTU. This is because if your category does not lie under the central reservation list of OBC available on the official website of NCBC and therefore you cannot use the OBC reservation certificate issued for state level benefits of Uttar Pradesh, in Delhi colleges.
For admission to aforesaid institutions you need to appear for JAC counselling for which you will have to use your category as general until and unless you lies under the central reservation list available at the official website of NCBC.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Hello IIT Aspirant,
If you want to take admission in IIT-Delhi in computer science you need to complete your 10+2 from recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your subjects. You have to appear in JEE advanced to be eligible to compete for the seats in IIT-Delhi. Once the results of JEE-Advanced are out JOSSA will release the opening and closing rank of each specialization. If you fall under the required cutoff rank you can confirm your seat in prestigious IIT-Delhi.
Best of luck!!!
