Hi,

Yu have mentioned that you have a 88 %ile and you belong to OBC-NCL category.

You wil have a rank of around 1 lakh. WIth this rank, I do not think you will have enough opportunity o get into an NIT with CS stream.

So I think no.Chances are very less to be very honest. You will not get into any NIT or IIIT especially with CS stream.

Dear Student,

IIIT  ECE bangalore has newly established so i can not tell but the top IIITs are below

  • Hyderabad
  • Delhi
  • Allahabad
  • Bangalore

You can go with IIIT delhi because their curriculum is good for ECE students you will get to learn data structures and java language in 1st year and in 3rd year you will be learning more advanced topic. Its package is also more than IIIT hyderabad. You can read here the average package of ece stream

https://news.careers360.com/iiit-delhi-placement-2020-703-job-offers-for-376-students

You should also consider the total seats because at IIIT delhi there is some resrvation and seats is less so you can go with IIIT hyderabad also for ece stream as they also have good curriculum and focused on IT.

Hello student

With rank 160000 in z main there is little chance to get any seat in NITs, IIITs, and gfits.

With rank 54000 as OBC candidate there is a little chance for seat in NIT because this is a low rank for admission in those NITs. But you can try for NIT Agartala NIT Srinagar NIT Goa etc.

For government funding technical institutes like Gftis R for you as follows like School of planning and architecture Bhopal, School of planning and architecture Vijayawada, School of planning and architecture New Delhi.

Indian Institute of information Technology Ahmedabad, Guwahati, New Delhi e Hyderabad etc.

Hello student,

To get a seat in IIITs you need to avail JOSAA counselling and admission in IIITs depends on your JEE marks and not your JEE advanced marks. Through JEE Advanced, you can get a seat only into IITs.If you want to get a seat in IIITs or IITs you can avail JOSAA counselling which will start on October 6

You can use our jee advanced college predictor and predict the college you can apply to using the link below

Hello,

As per last years cutoff, I cannot see chances of getting a seat in top NITs, IIITs, GFTIs with this rank. Cutoff changes every year but for reference you can see last years cutoff for top NITs, IIITs, GFTIs.

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-nits

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-iiits

You have chances of getting a seat in JMI. Last year cutoff for CS, for last round i.e Round 3 was around 38000 pr OBC category. And in Round 1 you might get a seat in branches like Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

I will suggest you to go for other state counselings, many states like Maharashtra, M.P, Punjab, Haryana, U.P, etc. conduct their state counselings every year and provides admission in many well reputed private as well as government colleges. You can predict your colleges based on your rank using college predictor tool, you will get all possible predictions of the colleges you might get in JoSAA counseling and other state counselings.
