Dear aspirant,
As you need admission through PWD reservation in Jadavpur University so the seats in this category are very less and the cut off depends upon how many PWD students have applied for PWD category.
So i will consider you as a others state candidate and a general PWD candidate so as per this you have to score a rank of 65k to get into the lowest branch in JU but for computer science a rank of 6k-7k is required.
Hello,
WBJEE means West Bengal Joint entrance examination. So if you are qualified for WBJEE then you will get admission in West Bengal engineering college government or private colleges. But with this rank you can't get admission in mumbai college. Because it's belong Maharastra state. If you want to go mumbai then apply JEE mains examination. As far as your interest lies in IT/ Software/ Finance/ Analytics it doesnt matter you are from which branch. It is totally your responsibility to learn new skills and master technologies during your stay in the institute.
However I would suggest you to take Construction Engineering as you may have certain placement prospects in Core in Companies like L&T, Tata Projects and Shapoorji Pallonji. Suppose you develop interest in the subject you may go for a Masters in Civil or Structural Engineering or a PGDM in Project Engineering and Managememt from Institutes like NICMAR Pune and have good career prospects.

Being a Non Domicile, you may face high competition as well as high cutoffs when compared to your Domicile friends at Jadavpur University Counselling. You need an AIR of around 350 in WBJEE to secure your seat in Mechanical Engineering at Jadavpur University. An AIR of 350 demand atleast a score of 150/200 for a moderate paper, which should be your target. For more information do follow the link below

A bit underwhelming due to inadequate funding. Basic labs found in first year are not upto the mark. However when it comes to equipments, toh would probably all of them except half of them are obsolete from industry pov.
The Jadavpur University has quite old buildings. But, it has a central library with separate libraries in each department. It has 4-5 canteens at different points in the campus. It also has an Open air theatre, A gym, and a basketball court adjacent to the main ground.
The university still uses alot of buildings that are way too old and they are maintained very rarely. But, few new buildings have been built recently which is a good thing. There is a lack of adequate labs for example in my department (Economics) there is no sufficient facility. There is also lack of ACs in the classrooms.
