Hello Aspirant.

As you've mentioned that you've scored 58.88 percentile in JEE main and Belong to SC category. Then due to the sc category quota there are chances of you to get admission in lower NITs. You can get admission in DTU, NSIT, IIITs but there might arise a situation where you won't be getting your desired branch if it's CS or IT.

Best of luck !

Hello,

If you're asking for admissions to BTech program in  Netaji Subhas University Of Technology(Delhi) then it is through JAC Delhi Admissions on the basis of JEE Main score.

Eligibility is candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with an aggregate of 75% in 10+2 PCM/B with English as a compulsory subject, for SC/ST it's 65%.

Hello,

Your expected rank will be around 314407.You can calculate your expected rank using the formula (100-your total percentile)*869010/100

Where 869010 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session.

In April session 1200000 candidates are expected to appear then your expected rank can be calculated by the formula (100-your total percentile)*1200000/100

Now, rank based on your category is expected to be in between 22000-26000.In 2019 the cut off were as follows for each branch for other state candidates

Hello.
Every year DTU cut off goes  low in comparison of NSIT, from the past year record you can expect your chances of getting into DTU if your rank lies under 4000 while it may extend to 1000 more for NSIT that means if you have rank under 5000 then you have good chances of getting into NSIT, as I am not considering any category quota and any branch so it is an expected data ,it may variate with some factors.
Best of luck.

Hello Divyanshu,

You have not mentioned your exact % you got in PCM.

As per eligibility criteria , ( for Engineering ) the minimum % required for the candidate in xii board PCM is 50 % required for general category and 45% SC category.

If you have exact 45% in PCM , then also it works .

But below this % you won't be able to get admission to any institute whatever your marks be in JEE main .

Eligibility for NIT and IIT

aggregate percentage , for general category aggregate percentage of 75% are required.

for SC,/ St 65% aggregate are required for counselling and admission.

60% in PCM are required.

For CBSE candidate you must be in top 20 % percentile
Coming to admission in nsit  :-
NSIT requires following eligibility criteria yo be met
Candidate must have passed out 12 or equivalent exam with minimum 60%  marks in PCM in FIRST ATTEMPT.
There is relaxation of 10% for SC or St . That means SC or St candidate should have got minimum 50% in PCM in FIRST ATTEMPT fo admission in NSIT.
It is Mandatory.

Hello Aspirant,

NSIT takes the admission through JAC Delhi counselling on the basis of JEE Main score. As per the eligibility you should have minimum 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together. English must be one of the compulsory subjects in the qualifying exam.

Distribution of seats:

In total seats, 85% seats are reserved for Delhi Candidates.

Remaining 15% seats are there for the outside Delhi candidates.

Good Luck!

Hello Aspirant,

First of all congratulations for scoring such a good score in JEE Mains 2019.

According to careers360 Rank predictor your all India rank will be near about 60,340 - 67,840.

And considering you in SC category, you are eligible for JEE Advanced, as well as you can get a good NIT.

Now, talking about DTU and NSIT, being an SC candidate, around 110-130 would be sufficient if you're a Delhi candidate, but if you're not, 150 would be more than sufficient.

Student Reviews for NSUT Delhi

College Infrastructure: 4/5

Here ,the only thing you can see is semester books, viva etc.

College Infrastructure

I would give 4 out 5 giving 4/5 for infrastructure feels fair because the campus delivers strong academic support with modern essentials, while a few maintenance and distance-related frictions remain. The academic blocks have well-equipped classrooms and labs that support hands-on learning; access to computing facilities, library resources, and lecture halls is generally smooth and organized. Yehi balance—functional classrooms + labs + library depth—daily learning ko reliable banata hai. Campus spread is a clear positive: open, green spaces, dedicated sports areas, and a structured layout make movement logical and campus life active. Sports grounds, indoor facilities, and basic utilities (bank/ATM, medical support, helpdesks) ensure routine needs are addressed without derailing study schedules—matlab infrastructure day-to-day rhythm ko support karta hai. Hostels and connectivity add to the stability: separate accommodation blocks, campus Wi‑Fi, and common spaces help students manage academics and downtime together. Common areas and service points reduce friction during peak academic weeks—yeh subtle cheezein overall experience ko steady rakhti hain. Why not 5/5? On a large campus, walking distances between blocks can feel long, and some facilities show uneven upkeep or delayed fixes—particularly in select labs or activity areas. Kabhi-kabhi cafeteria/vendor churn and small admin delays bhi experience ko thoda affect kar sakte hain. These are not deal-breakers, but they keep it a solid 4/5 instead of flawless. Net-net, infrastructure is dependable, student-first, and aligned with academic priorities. If someone values structured learning environments, usable labs, active sports spaces, and a campus that feels like a self-contained ecosystem, NSUT’s infra genuinely delivers—4/5 is a thoughtful, grounded rating.

Strong research base and placements self-driven

College Infrastructure

The campus is very big. It has modern and green campus. It has also well-maintained environment with classrooms. It has also hostel facilities. Classrooms are air-conditioned amd washrooms are neat and clean.

Faculty, infrastructure is good, but placement is poor.

College Infrastructure

The campus is very beautifully built and the hostels have sufficient amenities like wifi, reading rooms, badminton court, common rooms, etc. The hostel is also nice and provides good quality food in mess and canteens.
