Hi Harsh!!
According to previous years trends of computer science department of NSIT, Delhi, the cut off rank for obc category cum outside Delhi region candidates is about 5k. For a rank of 5000 in JEE MAIN, one has to score above 210 marks .
Hope thus helps.
Good luck!!
Dear Student,
ALL INDIA ENGINEERING ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION (SECONDARY) is an examination which provides platform to support the students granting them scholarships who want to pursue their engineering career from only IITs/NITs . So it means that it is for 31 National Institute of Technologies (NITs) and 23 Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs) only.
Hope this information is helpful.
Have a great day!
Hello Kuldeep
If it is Netaji Subhas, Delhi then you must get a rank around 6000, if you are a outsider i.e not a resident of Delhi.
But if you have a Delhi Domicile then a rank around 1.5 lakhs can fetch you a Computer Science Seat. (Only if it is Netaji..)
Hi Aspirant,
Reservation of seats is a scheme implemented inorder to help the students of poor and rural backgrounds as well as physically handicapped to attain the same education as everybody else.
For IITD,
The reservation is as follows:
1) 15% seats are reserved for SC and 7.5% for ST students.
2) 27% seats are reserved for Non-Creamy layer OBC candidates. All candidates applying for admission under this category should produce the OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate applicable for OBC.
3) 05% seats in the respective categories are reserved for the physically handicapped persons in the Postgraduate courses and Ph.D. Programmes.
4) 05% seats arereservedfor EWS (Economically Weaker Section) candidates (for the academic year 2019-20).
For NSIT and DTU,
1) 85% seats are reserved for Delhi region students and 15% for students outside Delhi.
2) 15% seats are for SC and 7.5% seats are for ST whereas 27% is for OBC.
3) 5% for the children and widows of war personnel killed or dissabled during service.
4) 1 seat for Kashmiri Migrant.
5) 1 seat for state board topper.
6) 1 seat for single girl child.
7) 3% of seats for the physically handicapped.
Thank You.
I would give 4 out 5 giving 4/5 for infrastructure feels fair because the campus delivers strong academic support with modern essentials, while a few maintenance and distance-related frictions remain. The academic blocks have well-equipped classrooms and labs that support hands-on learning; access to computing facilities, library resources, and lecture halls is generally smooth and organized. Yehi balance—functional classrooms + labs + library depth—daily learning ko reliable banata hai. Campus spread is a clear positive: open, green spaces, dedicated sports areas, and a structured layout make movement logical and campus life active. Sports grounds, indoor facilities, and basic utilities (bank/ATM, medical support, helpdesks) ensure routine needs are addressed without derailing study schedules—matlab infrastructure day-to-day rhythm ko support karta hai. Hostels and connectivity add to the stability: separate accommodation blocks, campus Wi‑Fi, and common spaces help students manage academics and downtime together. Common areas and service points reduce friction during peak academic weeks—yeh subtle cheezein overall experience ko steady rakhti hain. Why not 5/5? On a large campus, walking distances between blocks can feel long, and some facilities show uneven upkeep or delayed fixes—particularly in select labs or activity areas. Kabhi-kabhi cafeteria/vendor churn and small admin delays bhi experience ko thoda affect kar sakte hain. These are not deal-breakers, but they keep it a solid 4/5 instead of flawless. Net-net, infrastructure is dependable, student-first, and aligned with academic priorities. If someone values structured learning environments, usable labs, active sports spaces, and a campus that feels like a self-contained ecosystem, NSUT’s infra genuinely delivers—4/5 is a thoughtful, grounded rating.
The campus is very big. It has modern and green campus. It has also well-maintained environment with classrooms. It has also hostel facilities. Classrooms are air-conditioned amd washrooms are neat and clean.
The campus is very beautifully built and the hostels have sufficient amenities like wifi, reading rooms, badminton court, common rooms, etc. The hostel is also nice and provides good quality food in mess and canteens.
