Hi Geet,
At this rank, you won't get admission in top NITs, DTU or NSIT. However, you might make it to lower ranked NITs,IIITs and GFTIs. I would suggest you to use college predictor to have a better view of the options available to you.

Hey, Punit!
The answer to this question depends on your interests. There are minor differences between IT and CSE because both the colleges are equally good in terms of various aspects such as infrastructure, placements etc. For more information regarding the difference between the two branches, you are advised to go through the following link: https://www.careers360.com/question-what-is-the-main-difference-between-cse-and-it-do-same-companies-visit-both-the-branches-for-placement . Hello Akshaya,
For the following answer I am assuming that the provided rank is your category rank that is SC. On the provided category rank you have a very feeble chance in getting adimission in NSUT Delhi. However the trends change every year and same can be expected this year as well. Also if the provided rank is your AIR in open category, you still don't have that much of a chance get admission in NSIT. All the best!
Firstly correct your question, it should be IIIT Delhi.
Well I acknowledge, you ahve three heavy quotas ie Delhi, Defence and then an OBC.
But somewhere I believe, still these quotas are not good enough to secure a seat at these colleges as you need to understand that your JEE mains rank is way too less.
But still I would recommend you to take part in JAC and to go to it's last round ie the spot round. I've personally observed, that upside-down do happens at JAC's spot round.
Thank You
If you are more inclined toeatow programming you can consider computer science as your first preference in dtu or iiit d.
In nsit you can consider computer engineering , information technology and ece.
Don't consider mech since it's a new branch.
CSE and ECE departments of all three are very good .
So CSE > IT = ECE, then instrumentation and control and mpae of nsit
Hope it helps,
Priya

The Wi-Fi works well in most academic areas and the campus is overall neat and organized. Sports facility and open spaces like canteen give a good campus vibe.
