I have 96.3 percentile dtu nsit iiitd with home state quota what chance i have

Hi Soham,

Based on your percentile, your rank would be around 40k to 42k in JEE Mains 2019.

By this rank, you can definitely get NSIT, Delhi by home state quota but you can only get the lower branches like Bio-tech and Manufacturing and Automation Engineering whose cutoff rank last year was 49962 and 40750 respectively.

You can also get DTU by home state quota in the branches of Biotech, Environmental, Production and Industrial, and Polymer Science Engineering.

But you will not be able to get any branch in IIIT Delhi because you need to get a rank below 20k even with home state quota.

I scored 92 percentile in jee mains April. And my board percentage are85 .Can I get into nsit if I am general candidate otsife delhi

Hello student,
You have not mentioned which category you belong to. With 92 percentile in JEE main examination, you have good chances of getting a seat in the Netaji subash institute of technology, Delhi when comparing the results of previous years, since you are a non resident of Delhi. But, if you are a general category candidate, then branches like CSE or ECE cannot be procured there.

Hello sarvesh,

You are an ece student in nsit and you want job in it sector so first of all I want to tell you that it is company dependent thing that means there are many companies who put restrictions that only cse students can sit in the placement while there are many companies which are open for all

But don't worry as most of the software companies allow ece students to sit in the placement process.

In my pcm 46.6% and overall 55% and I am belong from St category and my jee rank is 15050 can I get admission in nsit. Please tell me.

Hi Vivek ,
With 46.6% in (Physics+Chemistry+Maths) and overall 55% in boards and from ST category and your JEE Main rank 15050(general) ,you can get admission in NSUT,Delhi previously Known as NSIT .But if your ST rank is 15050 then you won't be able to get admission over here .

Congratulations if you are getting ECE at NSIT, that is also quite good.

The most important thing is interest ,if you are really inclined towards CSE then i would suggest you can look for other colleges , because the branch you choose is going to stay with you.

If you are not very specific about the branch ECE is an excellent branch and NSIT is also a very nice college.

Placements in Nsits and dtu are quite good as compared to the IIT‘s .. every year the companies approaching the Nsit are top companies!all the top companies like facebook amazon google etc companies are there frequently! So i will suggest you to go for nsits .. it would definitely help you!

sir can i get addmission in dtu or nsit with sc rank 41764 and crl rank 5553212. please sir help me to try to find out colleges.

I think you had typed wrong CRL rank because it is approx. 55 lacs. If you have sc category from Delhi than you can get admission in DTU but you will not be able to get any core branches. DTU offers 15 courses in b.tech out of them you will be able to get admission in branches like PIE, PCT, EP,ENE,biotech etc. In DTU. You can also get biotech in nsut. But it will be difficult for you to get admission in IIIT-d. You should fill the choices in choice filling by registering online at jac delhi website to participate in counselling process. There will be 6 rounds of cutoffs and one spot round.
You should fill all the branches in the choice filling because you will be able to get admission till last round or in spot round.

I got 12500 in St category in jee main 2019 can I get admission in DTU or nsit ?

If 12500 is the rank from crl then all the branches are available for you in the very round under st category. And for nsit in the first round cse is not available for you but by last round you might get it. If the rank you have mentioned is category rank then these two colleges aren't available for you.

As of now there is no any Guideline or Notification from Delhi Government for EWS reservation quota in JAC Delhi Admission so it is difficult to tell you about it.

The infrastructure of my college is quite good and well maintained. The campus is spacious with clean classroom, fully equipped laps ,and a decent library where students can study peacefully. The Wi-Fi works well in most academic areas and the campus is overall neat and organized. Sports facility and open spaces like canteen give a good campus vibe.
