  • Thapar University is alos very good it is among top 20 engineering colleges of India.
    • You can wait for second or third round of thapar as you may get CSE branch at THAPAR University.

Hello,

Despite belonging to SC category, with this rank you are not going to get DTU or NSIT. Your CRL rank is too much high for these colleges.

Hope it helps.

Hello Kanika,
You can get into NSIT with a rank of 36k in various branches. You can get a good branch in the round 1 itself as the cutoff goes upto 200k for several branches. You can get seat in the core branches of NSIT.

Hey Harsh!

Looking at your percentile score, I can say your general rank(AIR) must be around 90k-100k.

You can check out NSIT's official cutoff for 2018 here:

https://www.collegepravesh.com/cutoff/nsit-delhi-cutoff-2018/

From the cutoff trends, you can see that there are very less or no chances for you to get into NSIT Delhi.

But as you are from Delhi, you can check out other colleges like Delhi Technological University (DTU). There are more chances for you here.

Hope this helps.

Good luck!

College Infrastructure

NSUT is located in Dwarka and it is almost connected to the main city via metro (blue line) . my college is big with a lot of trees and big ground . we have an Amul store near the APJ abdul kalam lecture thereat complex . NSUT have big classrooms which can hold a lot of student strength and labs are equipped . in short campus is big and great

A decent college

College Infrastructure

Labs are good for CS, but core branches labs doesn't live up to the expectation. Theory classes are well equipped with wifi, ac, smartboard, etc. For sports, there are enough grounds for different sports. There is also a gym, but equipments are not that well maintained.

Overall, the campus is good Enough .

College Infrastructure

Talking about infrastructure, especially the smart classes and the apj hall are well maintained with smart boards but the block classrooms are just average as it doesn't have smart boards in it. Including library, gym, sports room, canteen, laboratory everything is pretty good. Although the campus is too big , as it takes a lot of time to go from one place to another.Wifi accessibility is free for each and every student. Their is staff available at every place inside the college for cleaning purpose, so it's neat and clean even inside the restrooms and the canteen.
