BIT Sindri Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

Our college is spread over 40 acre. It has different building for different branch of engineering. The college have many laboratory for different experiment. But some laboratory need to get new equipment and need full restoration. Classrooms are old and the benches need to change. Although some classroom are equipped with projector, white board and speaker. Library contain the required the book but some rugged old. Also there is no facility of online books.

I'm studying chemical engineering.Beacause it has one of the highest paid job in the world .The quality of teaching is not good some professor are good and are capable of teaching but most are just not understandable. The syallbus that we are currently following is outdated and not practical. It changes everyear and it's improving.

The placement are not good in percentage ranges from 20-40% in different branches. The highest paid job was 12 lakh. The average salary offered is 3 lakh/year. The professor and placement cell help the student. The fully support and ready for any help.

As it is a government college, the fees are very less. BIT, Sindri is one the most low price college in India. It's great for value for money.

Life in this college is like any other colleges , there are different clubs that you can join as per your interests. The clubs organises many events and shows for students to participate. The location is quite outskirts of Dhanbad. It is surrounded by forest. It's safe. Although there small foxes around the campus but they are harmless.

Nice College , infrastructure is improving at a significant rate. The campus area is large about 450 acres . The buildings are being rejuvenated . New buildings for accomodation are being made . Cleanliness of hostels is an issue .

Similar to many colleges in India . Attendance is a burden for students. Lack of exposure don't let students to explore variety of topics . New faculties can be called dynamic but uselessly strict . Not an autonomous institute so the academics are constrained.

Below average packages and placement percentage . The average salary is no more than 5 lakh. More than half of the students do not get placement . Companies like TCS , wipro Ltd . Visit at a meagre packe of about 4 LPA .

Less financial load for people. Total expenditures for 4 years I less than 4 lakhs .

Nice senior Junior Bonding . Though not good for people who love recreation . As it is situated 25 kms from the main city area .

The college is popular for its strong Alumni network and base.

College facilities are not too good in comparison with other colleges but quite satisfactory . Classrooms are big and cleaned , college has a good central library . Smart boards are also introduced in the classes .

I'm being a mechanical engineering student really thinks good about the college because this college has many big and proper working workshops .The professors are experienced and quality of education is good .

This year 318 students placed in campus and many students placed off campus . The maximum package is 10.12 lacs per annum which is offered by Honda R&D . The average package is 4.8 lacs per annum . Around 60 companies visiting this college every year.

BIT SINDRI is India's best engineering college for value of money. In this college you are going to complete your 4 year engineering degree in just that amount of money you have to spent in any private college for 1 year . And if you have reservation than your academic fees is very less.

Hostels and mess are good. Rooms are not too big to adjust four students but it can be managed. Nearly 24 hours of electricity supply Is given . The staffs are also supportive . A watchman is always present on the door of the hostels

My own experience is quite good in this college . This college campus is totally ragging free. This year one student got 9th rank in gate from mechanical branch which inspired all the students . In this college a free coaching for gate is organized only for students of BIT SINDRI

Very well infrastructure awesome building for the student studying in this campus all student are very comfortable with this campus area very near to the Landry Najar it is a very good college with less fee all building are very nice and proper the government of jharkhand give 200 crore. For this college for infrastructure

Good Academy all teacher are friendly behave all notice are coming before any situation the faculty member are very well like it approx 200 faculty available for bit sindri the college is under the jharkhand gov.

Total placed 318 highest 10.12 lpa average 4.8lpa Very well placed for the current situation in the country approx all student are placed in this college so many company are reverse because of lack of student

Good The value of money is good in this college bit sindri under the government of jharkhand under the government of jharkhand so not much money is require to admmision in this college so interesting

Very nice campus life is available in the college of bit sindri there is many tree are available campus is so good and beautiful no can refuse to admit in this college so all the student are about to h

Very awesome only one college in India for less fee it is very good college in placement in all over India approximately 100 percent students are placed in this college so many company are reverse because of lack of student

Good infra renovation going on and labs are in good condition but should be contain latest instruments . classroom are lashed with a technical board ,so teachers understand concepts with ease. Wifi is under construction and may be it will fixed in upcoming years. Yes ,hostels are hygienic there is no problem you have to stay with other 4guys in 1st and 2nd year .

It's a matter of concern that teaching level of bit is slightly decrease in few years but alot new teachers appointed who is qualified from some good institute nit/iit .some professor are really good here who really interested to teach students.

Placement increases in upcoming years . Alot of opportunities given to students through our administration .startups cell are present in the college so anyone can start their startup and college support them in every aspects.

I think this college is good for those students who don't have enough money to study .only 70k for your graduation needed and if you belong to any category then it will may be vary .yes, your money worth to spend here.

Lust green campus but it should be maintained by our administration . there ar so many clubs here so you can engage yourself in the events that clubs organise everyear.college as well as teachers are very supportive except few.

The infrastructure of BIT SINDRI in quite awesome full of greenery environment. But some of the building are in under construction. Mess food is not so impressive. There is lack of equipments in chemical laboratory.

All faculties are quite good. Branches like mechanical, civil and electrical have experienced(more than 25 years) professors. Now they are using latest technology to teach the students.Online classes are also available in case of emergency.

Placement is not so awesome. But many international companies used to come for campus selection. Tata steel used to come for providing PPO(Pre Placement Offer), which is mainly for mechanical and electrical branch.

We can say it is almost free when we compare its fees with other engineeringcolleges.

Life is quite awesome in BIT SINDRI. Those 4 years will be best moments of your life.

It has huge campus, playground, Incubation lab and Siemens lab.Canteen food is very good.

Very nice infrastructure....well built and proper buildings . Wi-Fi is present in IT building. Siemens lab and incubation centre is also there. So many advance technology labs are there like 3d printing lab.

I am currently pursuing Chemical Engineering in BIT SINDRI. Teaching environment is good. Some Professor are very good, they teach and guide us very well but Most of the students prefer to study at hostel.

Placement senerio is not that much good right now but it's improving day by day. Average package is 3.65 lacs, hope it will increase soon. Placement in BIT usually depends on our own self, if one is deserving then they'll get placement.

Money wise BIT SINDRI is best. It's annual fee is quite less. Their is also some concession in fees for girls. There are other scholarships on caste basis as well. So it's very good for middle or low class families

Campus life is outstanding. No place can replace BIT environment in this whole world. Tiger road, murga road , PMC they are not just a road they're feelings for every bitian. It's mesemerizing for all of us.

Overall no one beat bit sindri in any aspect. We learn how to survive in every situations. It is well said that bitians are second to none because if one can survive here, he/ she can survive in every situations.

It has a sprawling campus around 400 acre. There are 25 hostels, 24 hrs electricity supply, good quality of foods are served for the healthy life of students.. mechanical & electrical laboratories are old. And all the books are available in the library and time to time sports are also organished for the physical development of the students. Hostels are neat and clean food is also good.

Professors are talented here. And maximum students do well in the exams they got the good marks due to the talented professors.college provides with the pps labs for the coding which helps for the startups.and for the app development which make us job-ready.

Placements are not good in last few years but from 2 to 3 years placemts are on their track. Students are palced in several good companies such as TATA STEEL,VEDANTA,jsw,TCS,NINJA,TATA POWER,T&C etc.. 318 students are placed out of total students. Maximum package is 12 lpa. And avg package is around 5 lpa.

This college understands the value of money. This is the cheapst college in INDIA this college..

Students(seniors are very helpful they are talented in their field, such as video editing, arts, literary etc) students are lovely they work hard for there futures, and proffesors are very hepful they are always available for doubt clear.bit sindri located at 24 km from dhanbad station in peace area named sindri.one train also run between sindri to dhanbad. And medical is always available 24×7.

Our college is of 700 acres in which 450 occurs are in used. Our college has 29 hostels for b tech student and mtech student. Enough number of hostels are there in our college. Cleanliness is maintained in hostels as a sweeper is regular here. Our college have club ground for all sports activities. Our college also contain a central library for our book needs.

currently I am pursuing mechanical engineering BTech degree from BIT sindri because mechanical engineering is a good stream in b i t sindri. A professor are highly qualified and the quality of education is very good. Know the curriculum is not updated and it lags all including development in the field. You are not job ready student after passing from b i t sindri.

BIT sindri was one of the reputed college in earlier time. But its glory faded with time. The placement is now a day increasing in our college. The quality of placement in our college is at project good but the quantity of placement is not good. The percentage of student betterplace vary from branch to branch for example metal and mining I have always 100% placement record in our college in recent year it goes to 50% when it comes for mechanical engineering electrical engineering.

B i t sindri is holding number one position in all over India in terms of returns of investment. Here girl child has to pay 32 rupees for tuition fee for whole year. While general category student have to pay 7732 rupee for one year. For SC ST student tuition fees 32 . For a general category student you will have all your BTech completed within 2 lakh.

Nightlife do not exist in b i sindri as many IIT or NIT have in their own. The campus is located in in sindri where there is no fun centres. For watching movies you have to go to dhanbad. The teachers are very supportive here.

It is the only one college in Jharkhand state that is run by state government. If our college is converted into a college of national importance then college can be e improve with much faster rate. The student of BIT sindri have good potential but opportunities are are not so much at present for all students

If I talk about infrastructure then yes college have a good infra and renovation is going on . classroom are now equipped by smart boards and infuture hostels will also have wifi facility and laboratory are also good but it should be more advanced and I think it will also solved soon.

Some professors are very good but not all ,you have to be depend on your selfstudy and if you a student of spoonfeeding type then this cllg is not good for you . There is professor in my branch U.K DEY ,have a depth knowledge about his field.

Yes ,good placement companies like Tata steel, vedanta,JSW,TCS,ninja, wipro,zs,AQ,TATA pOWER,L&T,ABG,ADANI etc visit every year and recruit number of students . Recently 318 students got placed in different companies . Highest package 10.12 lpa honda r&d , average 4.81 lpa and placement are increasing every year and cllg supports you .

This cllg is runed by state government so, tution fee is very low .for girls only 32 rupees is tutuion fee. Only 70k need you to complete your degree from this cllg and if you belong to any category then you will get more benefits and you have to pay less fee .

Campus life is good here but don't compare with nit/iit . campus fully lust green .Number of clubs are in this in which you can engage yourself and classmates are very awesome and very helpful ,you enjoy your btech life alot here specially,in hostels.
