Hello student,
A rank of 131656 is considered relatively high, and for the general category, it's unlikely to secure a seat in GBPUAT especially for competitive branches like Computer Science or Information Technology.
For your rank you might explore branches like Civil Engineering or Agricultural Engineering which usually have higher cutoff ranks and through the UTU counselling you have slightly better chance to get a seat.
It's crucial to check the specific cutoff ranks for each branch from the previous year's data on the GBPUAT website or through UTU counseling.

Here's a article that will help you with the college's detailed information:
Thank you!!
The cutoffs mentioned earlier are like a rough sketch based on what's been seen before from state advisors and college admission trends. However, these aren't the final word from UTU or GBPUAT. The real deal comes directly from the colleges themselves—like GBPUAT—or through state counseling groups when they wrap up their sessions. These official lists show exactly which scores or ranks close off each category every year.
To get your hands on this precise info, always head straight to either the university’s website or check out announcements made by the counseling authorities directly. While having an estimated guess based on past patterns can help with planning ahead, it doesn’t hold a candle to the actual announced cutoffs that you need for making solid decisions.
Remember how chocolate melts in your mouth? That sensation of knowing exactly what you're getting into is similar to checking those official sites; there's no substitute for getting information right from its source!
Hello,
With a JEE Main rank of 131656 and being a general category candidate from Uttar Pradesh, you have a very low chance of getting admitted to GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) through UTU (Uttarakhand Technical University) counselling for B.Tech programs, especially for popular branches like Computer Science Engineering.
With your rank, you might explore other private engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh or consider pursuing online courses or a drop year if you're determined to get into a specific field.
Thank you!!
