      GEC Kozhikode offers engineering courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. GEC courses include 6 UG courses and 5 PG courses which are B.Tech and M.Tech in multiple disciplines. All the courses at Government Engineering College Kozhikode are AICTE-approved and affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerela, also known as Kerela Technological University (KTU).       Candidates should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics together.

      45% marks for backward classes and 

      Passing marks for SC/ST candidates

      Diploma holders are also eligible.

      Candidates should have a minimum 60% aggregate marks in graduation in Engineering

      Qualified MCA/M.Sc are also eligible as per the guidelines of AICTE and the Government of Kerala.


      Candidates who have passed the AMIE/AMIETE examination should have a minimum of 55% marks and should have a valid GATE score


      54% aggregate marks for SEBC (OBC) candidates and passing marks for SC/ST candidates

      Final-year candidates may also apply


      For GEC UG courses, admission to the third semester of the regular full-time engineering degree programme (B.Tech) under the lateral entry scheme is open to diploma holders who have secured a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates). However, they must pass the Entrance Examination conducted by the State Government for the lateral entry scheme to be considered eligible.

      Yeah we have good infrastructure in our college. We are having clean living spaces and hygiene food in our college hostel too. college facilities are improving progressively. But some space limitations are existing.

      Government Engineering College, Kozhikode, is an AICTE approved college, and admissions are done completely on merit basis. The fees for general students, for chemical engineering is 52.84K, for the entire duration of course. The placements are pretty good here, with average placement being 3.5 LPA, and the highest salary package being 5 LPA.

      This government engineering college is one of the best colleges in the city . BTech courses are started un the year 1999 and it is a NBA accredited courses college and reviews of this college is also nice so many students said in their review that ECE is a good branch in this college and I'm sure that you can opt thos college.
