Anshul since you have completed the diploma in the Mechanical domain and if your wish to go the various engineering institute via lateral entry then you should directly apply to all such colleges via their respective entrance exam or may be directly or if you wish to go in the Government Institution then you have to write the IIT-JEE and based upon the cuttoff you will be able to enter into the IIT Institutions as an Class 12th category student but yaah remain in mind that diploma category student's you can't be able to enter into the NITs or CFTI colleges.

I want to get admission in GBPEC kindly help me with the procedure. I also had appeared for IPU CET and scored rank 28490.

The last rank this year that got admissions is around 7,700 plus so your rank is way too higher. The colleg doesnt have institutional admissions as far as I know as all seats get filledup. Contact the college to find out if they have any other procedure.

Yes , you can go for lateral entery i.e directly in 2 nd year after a diploma in mechanical polytechnic.

Process vary from college to college & university to university.So go to thier official website in which college you want to take admission.

Considering you to be general and predicting your rank to be in in the range of 200000-300000, you can not get admission in GBPEC in any branch . If the considerations are wrong , please mention the correct ones in comments.

The infrastructure of college is fine It's quite beautiful and eye pleasing, auditorium is well maintained, and is pretty good. Means all over the infrastructure is fine and well furnished, the place is peaceful and calming.

Infrastructure of the college is average, some of the buildings are old, some are new, the instruments available are old and don't work most of the time, its a such an headache to work with them. Its like playing a guess game.

good if you have low budget or you want Goverment college

the college has decent infrastructure as it is on the mountains the landscape and views are so beautiful even sometimes in winters snowfall happen, and the campus is very peacefull because there no sound of vehicles and etc. you can also see the himalyas form the college and it is so beautifull. library is also decent but you the timing is bad only 9 to 4pm -hostels are clean and food is also average same as other hostels.
