Campus is very good for marine engineering. All types of machinery related to ship are available in our workshop. Girls hostel is very clean. Library, college canteen, smart classrooms are available in our college.

I am studying B.Tech marine engineering in this college. Teaching quality of professors are really very good. They are very knowledgeable and helpful also. Engineering related subject, ship construction, engine department of ship are main part of our course.

Placement of our college is overall very good. If I am talking about girls placement there is 100% placement of girls students in our college. Shipping companies as well as shipbuilding companies are recruiting from our college.

Good infrastructure and great faculty and choosing it as an option is good and needs overall improvement about the ideas about total amount of time spent over period of time. Infrastructure is good got it

Academically they share good knowledge about the subjects that are required for the field as well as character building. Student has to be focus on studies and academically they will do well in overall subjects that are provided to them

The placement record is also good no issues just need to concentrate on studies and placement will be done soon. World big companies hire from here, alumini is network is also strong. Compare to none college.

IMU kolkata is very famous for marine engineering in India. Separate hostels, smart classrooms, well equipped lab, workshop, computer lab are available in our college campus. All types of outdoor sports ground, swimming pool, Auditorium are also available.

I am studying in seventh semester of four year B.tech marine engineering course. Our faculties are very knowledgeable and helpful. Marine related core subjects, PLC and automation, Marpol, Solas, marine boiler are main topic of our course.

At about 80-85% students get placement on campus from our college. The placement program starts normally from sixth semester. MSC, Maresk, Dynacom, TORM, NYK, SANMAR, ZODIAC, ZENCO, BSM, MOL are the main recruiter from our campus.

As per government college, there are decent facilities regarding accommodation, mess and auxiliary facilities. The college are consists many facilities like swimming pool, playground, gymnasium and other indoor playground. Air conditioning and smart classroom are available in campus.

Imu kolkata is oldest marine engineering college in India. Senior hostel is overall good. Single occupancy is allowed in senior hostel. Marine workshop, dispensary, swimming pool and large playground, labs are available in our campus.

Now I am studying in final year of 4 year B.tech marine engineering course in this college. Faculties are most of our college passouts. Internal combustion engine, Marine electrical, workshop technology and naval architecture, marine design are main paper of our course.

Placement is overall very good in our batch. After clearing 6th semester I got a chance of an interview in Sanmar shipping. I got placement in this company. At about 90% of every batch gets placement on campus. Many shipping companies are normally recruiting from our college.

Infrastructure of Imu kolkata is overall good. Hostel facility is moderate. Big playground, basketball court, computer & electrical labs are also available in our campus. We have smart classroom facility. Library is very good for reading.
